Eisbrecher

I have the mp3 version of this album since I stream my music to my bluetooth speakers. I'm not going to write a review for every Eisbrecher (Ice Breaker) album that I have so if you love Rammstein's music you'll love this band. This has more electronica than Rammstein though. I love this kind of music. All the albums are awesome. If you love this then check out Oomph, Ruoska (Finland band but awesome if you listen to their album Radium), Megaherz, and In Extremo. In Extremo uses medieval instruments along with modern instruments that sound really cool if you like bagpipes, etc. Enough said. I just love that electronica feel to Eisbrecher's music. My favorite album would have to be sunde.

There really isn't much of a comparison with Rammstein (which I've always been a fan of), except that both Rammstein and Eisbrecher know how to kick ass. Eisbrecher is much more electronic-sounding, and quite honestly (by my tastes anyway) their music on this CD is better on average than Rammstein--this coming from someone who thinks Reise, Reise and Mutter are sheer brilliance. Unlike many hard rock groups, Eisbrecher is very melodic and the lyrics are interesting. The CD is packed with songs, almost all of which have become instant favorites of mine. If you like industrial rock and/or darker electronica, this CD is a must.

Great cd

Love it!

I love this band... I collected their whole discography via Amazon, because of the lower prices and limited availability to find these albums elsewhere. If you like that Neu-Metal, Industrial sound, this is a great band to check out, even if you don't speak German.

I first heard about this band after Amazon recommended them after I bought some stuff from Rammstein. I looked around the web, and then bought this CD after seeing the music video to "Schwarze Witwe." I really like the heart-pounding beats of such songs like "Willkommen Im Nicht" and "Angst?" but also like the slower tunes of "Frage,""Zeichen Der Venus," and "Mein Blut" for winding down after a tough day at work. And the best thing, like with most music from foreign bands, you don't have to learn the language to enjoy it. Music is one of those special things that breaks the language barrier. Alexx Wesslesky can do so much with his voice, and I hope him and Noel Pixx keep cranking out tunes for all of us to enjoy. Danke!!

When the singer and bass guitarist were in the band Megaherz, they rocked the house down with their albums Himmelfahrt and Megaherz 2. They have the "Tanz metal" style of a dance club's tunes and really know how to rock the house!Particularly, Herz Steht Still, Fanatica, and Taub-Stumm-Blind are such very awesome tunes. I can't wait until I purchase (or receive as a gift) their album Eiszeit and Megaherz's Megaherz 2. It will be so cool jamming down the road learning the German lyrics like it has been for me with Rammstein.

Für mich die beste Deutsch singende Gruppe....Alex beweist echtes Talent um Stimme,Sound und Texte miteinander zu vereinen....auch wenn die Mischung manchmal etwas düster klingt....aber so lieben wir EISBRECHER

Eisbrecher

Das Album ist gut, ABER das Schlagzeug finde ich, ist abwechselnd anwesend und zu schwach. Beatvergleich "Herz steht still" (schwach) und "Schwarze Witwe" (stabil)
