Far too many dog owners who compete in canine events such as agility or canicross overlook or fail to realise that their dog should be treated in a very similar way to a human athlete and Lowri's book contains excellent information and advice. More detail on fitness building would be appreciated but fitness programmes obviously need to be tailored specifically to each individual dog's needs, and overall this is an excellent book.

Clear concise and informative. a must buy if your dog is involved in sport. Loved it, and refer back to it...but note as science moves on some of the points discussed have newer studies.
