Kenneth Cole REACTION Chelsea Chevron Quilted Luggage, Black, Underseater, 17-Inch Carry On

I am absolutely in love with the Kenneth Cole REACTION Chelsea Chevron Quilted Luggage! The sleek black design with the chevron quilting gives it such a chic and modern look, while the 17-inch size is perfect for an under-seater carry-on. It's compact but surprisingly spacious, fitting all my essentials for short trips or as an extra bag for longer journeys. The multiple compartments inside make it easy to stay organized, and I appreciate the smooth rolling wheels, which make maneuvering through airports a breeze. The luggage feels durable and well-made, with quality zippers and handles. Plus, it fits perfectly under most airline seats, saving me the hassle of overhead bins. This little bag has no problem as a carryon, it’s lightweight, and very maneuverable. It also fits on top of my suitcase which I take as a check bag. The wheels are very nice and allow maneuverability in all directions. It also holds a lot. After reading some of the reviews I almost did not purchase it. Boy would that have been a mistake if I did not purchase it, because it’s the best bag I’ve ever had as a carryon. I did not understand some of the reviews it got. The color is as it says it is, black with gold zippers and looks great very classy. The zippers move well and seem like they will be very durable as long as you are not over stuffing it or shoving a laptop in that won’t fit. My laptop fits just fine in it, with an additional padded pouch I use to protect it, and there is still plenty of room without stressing the zippers. It’s got extra pockets inside and out for organizing. Very well made. I see people stuffing much larger bags in the overhead carryon compartments that shouldn’t even be allowed. This actually fits under the seat very nicely and I can still put my purse inside as long as it’s a small to medium size, with the laptop and other things. Great bag and I have not found anything I don’t like about it yet.

So I was actually trying to buy a different piece of KC luggage I'd seen that was at an incredible price. Unfortunately, when I looked, the item was sold out. Under the section "you might like this", this "bundle" was offered. The price was incredible and I trust the Kenneth Cole brand to provide a quality product, so I ordered it. It came just in time for a quick turnaround trip very recently and it performed beautifully! It's classic look and design (another credit to the KC brand), roominess of both the roller and the backpack, and the ease of getting it into the overhead bin makes these two the perfect travel duo. As a rule I am not label or designer conscious, but Kenneth Coleis one who will get my consideration.

(see update below) This is so cute and looks luxurious. The zippers seem secure and smooth. I leave tomorrow on my flight and this will be my carry-on. I love that it has the 360° wheels. I will see how sturdy they are. The pull up handle is smooth and seems solid compared to most. Lots of external zippers too, so you don't have to open the whole thing to get to your items, including your notebook or small laptop. *Update* When you extend the handle, although it is solid to pull up, it is wobbly. The wheel casings also wobble, causing the wheels to veer left and right. It is impossible to steer it in a straight line without having it shoot off diagonally away from you every second. The only way to control it is to pull it behind you like a traditional two-wheeler. I wanted a four-wheeler so I could turn it sideways and roll it down the aisle on the plane. As it is too wide for the increasingly narrower plane aisles, and it does not move in a straight line going sideways, the only choice is to bend over and push it with both hands so that it steers straight, or pick it up and carry it. Not effective.

Since I've bought this, I've taken it on flights internationally and domestically. It so far has held up and hasn't ripped or had any problems structurally. The one zipper gets a little stuck sometimes but, just a bit of a tug seems to do the trick. They look super nice, and I have had a lot of folks stop me and ask where I got them - which is a weird thing to compliment frankly but I'll take it! I do wish the wheels were a bit bigger and easier to spin around, but my only complaint is the sturdiness of the handle when pulled out. It's a bit flimsy, and while it hasn't broken yet or anything, it always just feels like it's going to. I also purchased the carry on bag which can be attached to this, as well as the laptop type bag and when I hook them onto the handle I really do worry about it breaking. It hasn't yet though so, Until it does - I'd say it's a solid purchase!

Great bag, fits a c-pap machine perfectly plus a xtra pair of clothes and all my office supplies with laptop. A lot of room in this bag surprisingly. Also, the wheels are great and glide along the floor.

I really wanted to love this suitcase and I’ve had it for about a year and a half now and taken it on many trips. Having neck and shoulder issues, I am finding that with the flimsy handle wobbling the way it does, it puts a lot of strain on my neck and shoulders when I am wheeling it through the airport. It’s a great size and it’s lightweight and it holds everything I need for a short trip but I’m at the point where I’m very frustrated with the handle and I am looking for a different suitcase. As noted in other reviews, the handle will sometimes collapse, which is also frustrating. It took me a while to notice both the wobbling and collapsing since I was originally using this as my personal item on longer trips, and could sit it on top of my carry on. But I’m traveling a lot now on budget airlines for short trips, and so have been using it now as my sole piece of luggage of luggage to avoid paying for a carryon. I guess it’s back to looking for something with a handle that doesn’t wobble or collapse!

Love this set. Perfect size for my short trips. Light weight and great stability. I’ve traveled a few time now and it’s still in good condition.

Zipper intérieur manquant

Handle broke on the smaller suitcase quite literally 20 seconds after its first use. I purchased the luggage set a couple months ago, and they remained in the box with original tags, stuffing and zipper protection covers on them until I pulled them out last weekend. This was my first trip since I purchased them, and of course the handle breaks immediately after using it. I didn’t even get to bring it on my trip because I couldn’t wheel the bag without the handle. Because it’s been more than 60 days since purchase, Amazon will not refund me. Do not waste your money on this set. The quality is AWFUl! Wish I could get my money back, because I will most definitely not be using these ever again.

I loved the luggage but I’m writing to say I’m missing one of the pieces of luggage. I want the 3 rd piece to complete my set. It was a graduation gift for my niece. For some reason, i can’t seem to send me request anywhere else so I’m writing here, that I’m NOT asking for a refund or return my item, I just want the missing piece (20” suitcase on wheels)

I love travelling with this luggage! It's very stylish and the wheels are super smooth. The interior plastic pouch is handy as well.

The bags were delivered on time and look good. However the cabin bag is bigger than the size allowed on flight gets so I couldn’t use it.
