I was able to stretch my curls with this product! Love it!
The media could not be loaded. Â I ordered this product on July 30 and just received it today - August 4!!! I am sooo excited! My hair is natural and I bought this hair straightener brush basically to stretch my curls.First I read the manual and by page 3 I realized that it was translated from another language because the English was a bit rusty and I had a little difficulty understanding the instructions. But I was able to put the pieces together and use the product successfully! One bit of information that I really appreciate in the manual is that it has recommendations for temperature settings for the different types hair!Immediately after a few brushes, I can say that as I held the hair straightener brush, my hand was covering the controls and while I was straightening my hair the temperature was adjusting (because my hand was resting on the controls). I think the control panel should be relocated. I had to brush my hair a few times to stretch my curls. My hair was not straight but I don't have a problem with that.Summary - I love this product but am rating four stars because of the location of the control buttons.

The brush itself is comfortable in the hand and it has a nice long ...
Directions were a little confusing. It heats up very quickly with a max of 230 degrees Celsius. Very clear screen to see how hot it is. The brush itself is comfortable in the hand and it has a nice long cord. For me personally the on/off and temp buttons are in a weird spot. I kept turning it off when in use. It got my hair straighter (washed it last night and air dried). I have long (down to my hips) thin hair but I have a lot of it. It got the top and middle straight but couldn't do anything with my ends. It takes me about 15 minutes with a straight iron to get totally straight hair so this is fine to just tone it down but do finagled won't give you that super straight hair if that's what you're looking for. Not a Miracle for Thick Hair
Overall, I'm happy enough to keep and continue to use this product. My favorite part is the fact that I'm much less likely to burn my scalp because the hairbrush tips don't get super hot. However, the max temperature is only 230, not 290 like listed in the instructions. If you have fine-medium hair you'll probably have no problems and I'd definitely recommend this product. If you have super thick hair like me though, the product will still work but it's not hot enough to give you super straight hair. My thick curly hair is a force the be reckoned with but I was still pretty happy with how smooth and mostly (85%) straight my hair was. I'm digging it. Also, the instructions are pretty ridiculously translated into bad english by a Japanese company but I enjoyed that part quite a bit.

Its ok... I have thick wavy hair ...
Its ok...I have thick wavy hair, so it didn't make mine stick straight, and did nothing to help with frizz, even when using argan oil. On my 6 year old daughters hair it works just ok too. Its not going to completely straighten you hair, but it will take some of the wave out if you have wavy/curly hair. the bristles are hard, and can be kind of uncomfortable against your head. I also couldn't figure out how to get it to turn on, you have to hold the on button for it to turn on, then turn the temp up.

Excellent
If I could give this 10 stars, I would!!! Anyone every try to flat iron your hair with a baby who wants up constantly? You can't do it. I used to straighten my hair everyday and it's become harder. I have grabbed this brush so many ways and haven't burned myself. It protects your scalp against the hot parts, making it ideal for children who want the look without the possibility of getting burned. I have only tried it on myself though, I have very thick always wavy and curly hair. It heats up increasingly fast, and you can control the temp your hair needs. I recommend brushing your hair first, especially since my hair tangles really easily. Yes it made it through my hair but it was so much easier with combing first. I also learned to make sure your hair is dry, since it was harder to straighten damp/drying hair. The silicon bristle covers make it safe to use on my scalp and are long enough not to feel too 'hot' or scary. I've been burnt before by a regular iron style hair straighten and it was always a daunting task. Now in so please, perfect for everyday use, although you still might have to touch up a few whisps if your trying to look really nice. Gets the job done quickly and easily. I haven't figured out the exact temp my hair straightens best at yet but it changes easily, I'm sure I'll have it down soon. It's so easy to use, will definitely be my daughters first hair straightener once she's older as it seems to me to be the safest straightener I've ever seen and simple enough a young child could work it. I'm very pleased to be able to multitasking better now, brushing and straightening with one hand, saving baby with the other.I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Didn't Work for Me
My brush arrived with one of the red protection bumpers missing. I was still excited to try it, as I have very long wavy thick hair. My hair straightens fairly easily with a straight iron, but it is just time consuming since I have to work in sections. This brush only heated my hair, it didn't actually straighten it. I used the highest heat setting, and it heated up fairly quickly. It helped tame some of the frizz, but I was not impressed with the results. The instructions were also very difficult to read, and at one point even recommended using fabric softener on my hair..which made for a good laugh.

Worth the price
I purchased this straightener for my daughter for Christmas. It arrived on time but the box was damaged. The straightener inside the box was fine. She says it gets very hot and seems to work well for her. I did notice that a couple of the bristles have broken off already but i dont know if that has to do with the quality or if the fact that it is owned by a teenage girl who may not take care of it in the best way.
