Giorgio Morandi: Late Paintings Hardcover – 22 Jun. 2017

i got this book as a gift from my eldest son for Xmas - so I have only had it 24 hours and not read it yet. Not that I do especially read art books - they are in the most part full of pretentious sycophantic drivel. If a painting needs explanation it has failed as a painting. I read John Feesey's one star review - the thrust of which seemed somewhat nebulous - and felt obliged to redress the balance by my glowing comment. This is a nicely produced pleasing volume and a worthy addition to any art library.
