10pcs 0.3mm Carbide PCB Drill Bits

These are excellent milling cutters but require a precision micro milling machine to use them They are extremely fragile and I broke 2 due to taking insufficient care in inserting them in the milling cutter collet. I cannot emphasise enough the care that needs to be taken in using these cutters as the slightest accidental sideways touch can break them. I used one for cutting two parallel 3mm long slots 3mm apart in the copper of a printed circuit board and it carried this out without any problems.I also drilled a hole in the board again with no problems. I used a Proxxon MF 70 micro milling machine which did the job although the lines were not as straight as I would have liked (see photo) although probably good enough for most purposes. I would not recommend using them in any hand held device.

Great very fragile but well packed - shipped in a good plastic case, each drill bit is well protected..
