Donner DSP-003 Sustain Pedal ... will work with other brands of keyboard w 1/4 inch pedal jack
Most basic digital pianos/keyboards come with none or very cheap, plastic sustain pedal. While you could get some no name Chinese brand of sustain pedal for few dollars cheaper than this pedal, Donner can be trusted to make reliable accessories (although they are probably made in China as well) based on my experience with Donner digital pianos. It has a polarity switch on the side to be compatible with various brands of keyboard that has a 1/4 inch sustain pedal jack. I've tried this pedal on Yamaha, Roland and Casio brands of keyboards without any problem. Brand name replacement sustain pedals from the likes of Yamaha and Roland are pretty expensive for what they do. This is an excellent budget alternative.

Gets the job done
Works well and reasonably priced. Stays in place.

Durability and Repairability
Used a mechanical switch rather than pressure pads like other low cost brands such as M line and thus has better longevity and easier repairability while still giving a similar experience to an grand piano pedal.

The quality sounds is not great
It’s cheaper Than the other ones, but it isn’t great to make the sustain effect.

Low cost is not always better!
Purchased on 7/24/25 and broke on 8/24/25. The item was not sturdy when in use, always feeling like it had a low-quality build. Then, today, something inside popped when I was using it, and now it will not sustain the notes anymore. Return window missed by 1 day. Not worth servicing. Will toss and buy the Roland I was originally going to purchase.

Great for anyone regardless of budget
This is a nice pedal at a very good price. It worked with my older Yamaha keyboard no problem. Just plugged in and went. The actual pedal part you press with your foot is metal, the rest of the case is plastic, but it feels solid. There's good action in the pedal. It depresses and returns smoothly. It's not loose, so you get some physical feedback, meaning you can tell you're pressing it. The base has rubber feet to to keep it from sliding around, and it size is big enough for you to find and engage easily but not knock it around. And as I said early, it works as it should. Triggered the sustain feature on my old keyboard right out of the box. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good pedal for home use without breaking the bank.

Malfunctioned after two months.
I used the Donner DSP-003 Sustain Pedal for two months before it malfunctioned. I had to revert to my old, inexpensive compact pedal. Unfortunately, since the pedal fell outside Amazon’s 30 day return policy, I was advised to contact the seller to resolve the issue. However, I was unable to locate their contact information. Update: I took the pedal apart and found that the bracket was broken. I fixed it with a screw. It works now but I'm glad I ordered a Roland to replace it. One more update (a day later): The seller reached out to me and offered a partial refund. They also informed me that they’ve forwarded my issue to their product department for improvement. That’s great customer service.

Is it perfect? No - but for the price, a cheaper pedal, it works consistently, has relatively good quality. I wish the pedal weren't hollow underneath (there's a rim underneath) and that it was slightly heavier but at this price point I'm happy with the purchase.
