Does a better job holding my 10 ft umbrella in the wind compared to my heavy iron holder.

We have high winds where I live and it tore down several shade sails that were bolted into the rafters and the deck is too deteriorated to use a steel pergola and we rent. So I bought this and filled them with play sand and they haven’t been knocked down again.

The base is huge and looks cheap. Not impressed, plus seller charges you to ship it back. Very disappointed.

Bought this stand as the other metal one that we bought did not hold up even with the umbrella unopened! This one is great! We filled it with water and my umbrella was left up (open) for a couple of days in the same wind that took down my unopened one, and it stays up great! Would definitely recommend this base!

I bought 11ft umbrellas and needed a heave base. These put together easily, are big enough to support my umbrella and look good too.

Nothing to dislike. Easy to setup and reasonable in size, the umbrella base was perfect in its performance during 60-70 mph winds during last week's very damaging storm - no shifting, no tilting, just rock solid sturdiness.

This unit gets filled with water. When filled, holds enough weight to prevent the umbrella from blowing over. Empties at the end of the season, and is easy to store.
