Use it twice!
It worked great for me! Ok so I have dark brown hair and use permanent hair dye to cover my roots. I wanted a few chunks of my hair to be red so I decided to use color lifter to get the permanent dye out before bleaching. Now this product has two ingredients that have to be mixed with a level 30 developer(which I already owned). HERE IS THE TRICK! YOU HAVE TO DO IT TWICE. I used half of the ingredients PROVIDED (be sure to weigh them and do a 1:2 ration with the developer) and mixed them with the developer. I highly saturated the pieces, wrapped them in foil, and put on a shower cap with a lite misting of water in it. I left the product on for 1 hour and washed the strands. I used the bonded conditioner on them. I waited till the next day and did the same process again using the rest of the product and then mixing it with developer. After an hour not only was the permanent dye throughly removed but I was shocked at how much a color remover had lifted my hair color. Keep in mind if you are using this over your entire head you may want to buy two boxes.

Reach platinum from dark hair in one use
It is strong and works Brings dark dark hair to a platinum color in ONE USE 49% peroxide is the way to go I left it one for 2 hours I fell asleep Woke up Rinsed in sink with warm water I didn’t even shampoo it I was too sleepy. Just put a bit deep conditioner on a few strands and to bed No hair breakage, no brittleness. As a matter of fact- much to my surprise- it was SHINiER than my own hair (after “frying it” what most people would consider) Now that my friends is not a dangerous product my hair is very poor and dry because it’s curly my hair takes in one fourth at the time others does. I should’ve lost the grant of Hair no such thing happened. I love this product. I purchased it way before the trick is smaller strands. You’ll reach the platinum in no time at all as opposed to big chunks. I just ran and we picked a few strands no foil no nothing. It’s so easy and it touched my dark hair, but it didn’t die. It seems like this stuff just works on its own. It’s like a self bleaching tool kit. I should’ve had spots on my hair. I really didn’t care my hair is down to my butt it grows like weed and it’s thick and on top of that I really don’t care. Maybe that’s why it came out. The harder you try the worse the results effortless is key in life and in bleaching thank you seller.

Worked great!
Overtone changed the formulation of their Vivid Violet, turning my purple hair blue. I was so upset! I bought the Punky Colour Off Hair Color Remover, and it stripped nearly all of the blue out of my hair with just one try. It was easy to use, and I was able to apply purple dye right afterwards. I am relieved and happy!

Save yourself and DON'T buy this "color-remover"
If I could give this negative stars, I would. This does NOT do what it claims to do. It did not remove my demi-permanent hair color; it absolutely stripped my hair and made it a super effed up orange color. My natural color is a light brown; the demi-permanent dye was a dark blonde, but it made my hair look too dark. I found this product, which somehow had 4.2 stars, and thought this would be a fantastic fix. It is horrible! I have never seen such an awful color. Seriously, don't buy.

Results of my third rodeo with this brand!
My hair is thick and black. Bleaching without damaging it is a marathon. The first time I followed the instructions time, the result was red hair, second time I achieve a burned yellow and in the photo is my third and most recent attempt to get it right, however, the result was still brassy and orangish. To reach this final result I had to leave the bleach it for 60 min plus 10-15 min application, AND immediately after the entire treatment, I used purple shampoo and conditioner to remove the brass and finally sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide to clear it as much as I could. It is very difficult to achieve white hair color DIY without the extreme risks of permanent damage. Even when this product promises the most platinum-blond result when the hair is already blond. Nevertheless, the after-bleach mask is really good. This brand has a protectant serum to add to the bleach and activator blend which grants the hair hydration during the process and compared to other pre-measured products, it works well. Still, achieving white hair color DIY seems to be impossible.

Good weak bleach product, removed black box dye.
It is bleach, if you didnt know. I bought this because of that and the fact that others were said to smell BAD. It did it's job. I wasn't too happy with the test strip, as it didnt lift at all, but I managed to get a lot of the black box dye off my head with minimal damage to my hair. Included is a hair mask, too, so that helped. The smell just smelled like bleach. It doesn't lift aggressively, as its like 20 vol developer. I left it for an hour and my roots lifted maybe 5 shades (black to a light chestnut, maybe). My dyed hair lifted to a lighter color of the red I had underneath it. There are some spots that didnt process as well as others, so you'd need to go over them again if you want a uniformed look. I dont recommend using like 30 vol bleach after using this. It seems like a lot on the hair. Also, I recommend buying a different hair mask than the one provided. Personally, I dislike the hair mask's smell more than the bleach.

it worked with consequences
i was a bit skeptical of the reviews but i figured it was just user error since it seems many people weren’t aware this has bleach in it. i will say, it did work. i had faded blue hair and it removed enough to put brown color over it. however, i do feel like my hair is absolutely fried, even after using the included hair mask, using permanent dye, and conditioning it again. i have hope that i can return my hair to its former state, but it is quite tragic right now.
