Super fun
Gift for 1 year old grandson. He likes them. His parents like them because they stick together or can come apart and stick to the refrigerator or similar.

Multi-purpose
I actually purchased this for my one year old grandson who lives out of state but the reason it appealed to me is the flexibility of use. He is teething so it is very appropriate for that use, plus he can use them in/on his stroller and also very appealing is the fact they are magnetic and so easy for little hands to use and play with.

Great for sensory seeking toddlers
Good size, non choking hazard for teething babies. They’re magnetic so they stick together and to the fridge. And they rattle! My 17mo old loves them!

Comes with some flaws, but amazing for beginner crawlers.
These rings are an interesting first experience with magnetism for a baby. The rattle sound makes it great for babies who like to make noise. They can be stacked or connected to one another. Our 8 1/2 month old usually sees a teether in everything but surprisingly barely uses this one as a teether. To me the plastic feels kind of flimsy maybe that's the reason (she mostly uses toys for teething that are silicone, rubber, wood, or hard plastic). The magnets are pretty weak and so the rings easily fall off from one another if not stacked. On one hand it's probably good so even the very young ones can easily manipulate them, on the other hand, this means unless stacked, the rings the baby is not holding, will fly through the room with each movements of the baby's hand - and remember, the rings rattle so this is a constant issue (we only use them in her room, we're too concerned something could break in the living room). But my biggest issue with these rings, is that they are only magnetic at this little area where the darker color is in the product pictures. That is a severe limitation in exploring magnetism for someone so young - our daughter usually tries for the rings to attach (easy when stacked but she more like moves them close to each other but for her it's pure luck if they attach because the dark colored areas of each ring would need to be right next to each other). Usually this frustrates her and so the toy isn't played with longer than a couple of minutes. We were on the fence of sending it back but instead this toy found it's way to our rattle collection since it's a decent toy for a diaper change to briefly distract her and keep her from moving away - it's very easy to clean so no matter where parts of it fly, it's as good as new in seconds. But unless you are desperately looking for an easy to clean toy for diaper changes, I probably wouldn't recommend it.Update: I increased to 4 stars - our daughter recently started crawling at 9 months and also figured out that these rings only attach in the darker colored area. Combined, this was a game changer. She loves to connect them by having one ring in her hand and lifting the others off the ground, then she shakes them so they can wildly fly around. Then she crawls after them to start again. It keeps her occupied for a very long time, which only very few of her toys can achieve and encourages her to crawl like no other toy.So I highly recommend this toy for a baby that is a least starting to crawl. We get so much more use out of this toy now that our daughter can crawl after it.

Fat Brain Toys are quality made toys with development as a priority
I am a neonatal and pediatric physical therapist that specializes in the birth to 3 year old population. Fat Brain toys are on my Toy Recommendation list. The visuals are perfect. The auditory part is a perfect pitch. They are never too loud that causes a startle even for my most sensitive patients. Tactile: perfect size for little hands and textured surfaces are perfectly placed. They are well thought out and my patients love them!! Keep up the good work! Sincerely, Claudia Kerns, PT

Great toy for humans and small dogs.
I came back for a 2nd set because the 1st set was for my grandson. He has loved them at 7 moths and still through his 1st birthday. We got a boston terrier pup that was 8 weeks and I started looking for things he could chew on (supervised). He got ahold of one of these and its great! These hold up to his little razor teeth too. My now 1 year old grandson and new puppy both love that they make a little noise and they can chew on them.

Entertainment for minutes
My toddler loves these!!! Kept her entertained for 15 minutes (which is hours in toddler time). She loves to stick them on everything magnetic and pull them off over and over. Perfect for working on standing and walking because we can stick them higher on our fridge or dishwasher. Great purchase!

Perfect
I love Fat Brain toys! My 1 year old niece is fascinated with the fact that they “stick” together. Great texture for mouthing.
