The tape do be sticking
Works great when you hang up acoustic panels. Very sticky, doesn't leave much damage when you remove them. Simple as stick-peel and you're done. Pretty thick

works great! I used tape to hang up solar lights on my vinyal fence has been holding up well thru rain and snow! also helped rig one of my security cameras outside LOL been holding on strong!!!

Not impressed with the adhesion of this tape
I used this tape to reinstall a water catch rail at the bottom of my swing-out shower door. I thoroughly cleaned and dried the surface before applying the tape. After only 24 hours the rail started to dislodge from the shower door. The adhesion of this tape isn't the same quality as 3M products, so you get what you pay for. This may work fine for super light duty purposes.
