The tape measure came exactly as described and it works perfectly. I love that the tape measure snaps into the bottom and you can use one hand to tighten it up and get a precise measurement. It works with the same RENPHO app that the scale uses so you can track all of your data in one place, which is so nice if you are also using the RENPHO scale. The measurement also syncs right into the app so it makes measuring your whole body quick. You can track your trends and see how your body is changing from week to week. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking to lose weight and want another way of tracking your progress other than just a number on a scale. What I didn’t expect is just how useful this tape measure would be. I bought this because I started a weight loss journey using GLP-1s after years of struggling with my weight due to PCOS and insulin resistance. In the last 3 years, my weight has fluctuated within a range from 170 lbs to 230 lbs. It constantly goes up and down and because of that, I have no idea what size clothing I wear. I have clothes that range from way too big to way too small and I have no idea what size to even buy anymore. This tape measure has been so helpful in deciding what size I should buy. I use the measurements from the app and compare to the size guide for clothing and can finally get a size that actually fits on my body. It’s so useful because sizing varies between brands and I’m able to just open the app and compare my measurements whenever I’m shopping. For that reason, this little device can be useful to everyone whether you’re losing weight or just trying to find clothes that fit you well. I didn’t expect how useful this thing would turn out to be but I’m so glad I bought it.

I absolutely love this RENPHO smart measuring tape! It’s been such a helpful tool for tracking my progress beyond just the scale. Being able to measure different areas of my body and see those changes over time has been really motivating. What makes it even better is pairing it with the RENPHO scale. Together, they give a much more complete picture of weight loss and overall metabolic health, instead of just focusing on a number on the scale. The Bluetooth connection is easy to use, and everything syncs seamlessly in the app. It’s simple, accurate, and really helps keep me accountable. Overall, a wonderful product that I’d highly recommend to anyone serious about tracking their progress and staying consistent.

I love this! It easily connects to an app and records all of my body measurements. I am currently on a weight loss journey and this is a very helpful tool. There was a bit of a learning curve at first. It looks like the device shut itself off after only less than a minute of being turned on. But that only happens when it’s not an actual use. When I have been using it to measure everything from my neck down to my calves, which takes about 10 minutes, It never shut off and it recorded everything with great accuracy. I love how this device compiles a history of your measurements said that you can easily compare measurements to current ones and see your progress. The tape wraps around the body part and locks into a little hole and it stays there with a magnet. You need to pop it out gently each time you measure a different part. The numbers are a little difficult to read on the device, because I felt like the face of the device was often turned away from me, and it was a little difficult to flip it over to read the numbers, until I realized the numbers also show up directly on the app during the measurement. So you can just look at the numbers on the app. You don’t need to look at the numbers on the device while you are taking the measurements. Although, I still tended to do this because I wanted to make sure both numbers matched. They did! I think it’s a great value. I highly recommend it.

Cons-no battery was included in my package even though the box says there is which led to a little frustration of having to track down a battery. And, the piece that latches comes out really easily which is frustrating Pros-retracts quickly! It’s self contained so no loose measuring tape that you have to roll up, it automatically tracks it, you just hit confirm on the app! Measuring chest, waist, abdomen and hips is so much faster and you just move it down a little bit and you don’t have to take it all the way off. Definitely recommend this to those with slow weightloss like myself, the scale is just one part of the journey!

This is a terrible product. It's accurate. You can measure things to the tenth of an inch or centimeter quickly. It is dependent on an app to function properly to produce understandable information about your body. The app is horrible. It's much worse than I can articulate. Tablet use is deactivated, and it needs an email registration so they can use your phone and sell a bunch of information about you, but that's not the problem. The app just doesn't work. It fails to save the sizes, inches on one bicep are multiplied by ten by the app (the decimal is in the wrong place), the app leaves "accept" buttons off screen all the time. It takes forever to try to go through the various measurements, and you will find it just doesn't work. Even if you manage to get them all saved, the app will jack it up. You'll never know your bodyfat or health stats, and never be able to look at progress. If you use this tape and a paper notebook and use the Navy's calculators, this works. But you can get a tape measure for $1, and this product costs $25. Therefore this is a poor value and a bad product, and I wish I could return it, but I tore up the package because it's shipped in a clamshell. Sigh.

The idea is good but the product not so much. The tape has a small space where you connect the tape to the device. It is awkward to plug in and makes getting an accurate measurement hard. The button to retract the tape is easy to push. The retraction of the tape is not smooth and it will not pull tight. Probably with more practice I could make it work. The big negative is the app. The tape connects to the app easily but the app is hard to use, difficult to navigate, and requires several attempts to record an accurate measurement. At one point after a numerous times to measure my waist, I got a sewing tape, wrapped it around my waist, and then manually typed into the Renpho app the measurements. I think with practice you could probably master the mechanics of the tape. Unfortunately the app is less than adequate making the device less than ideal and not much better than a manual device you record the measurements manually in another fitness app, journal, or spreadsheet.

Works well and easy to use especially if you are doing the measurements yourself. Very accurate and the app is the biggest advantage as you don't need to jot down the figures. Plotting your progress is made even easier.
