I bought this product in both orange and green - I use the orange one at home and keep the green one at work to do some standing yoga without shoes at lunch. The green one matches my  Gaiam Balance Ball Chair, Wasabi  that I use at the office and the orange one is a very lovely orange - similar to orange daisies in flower bouquets at the grocery store.The 6 mm thickness is perfect - I have bad knees, a bad ankle, and sciatica pain so thin yoga mats do not work for me. This gives me enough padding to avoid pain during yoga. I will say that I use the mat on a rug - not directly on hard wood - so I can't say how it would work in that situation. I use the mats daily and they are still in very good condition.Grip is good. I have used the mat with bare feet and hands and with yoga gloves and socks without any problems. I like these mats so much that I'm donating my previous mat.

First of all, what is most amazing about this purchase was their customer service! I was not able to figure out how to add the yoga strap with my purchase and as soon as I let them know they immediately sent me one in the mail.The mat is pretty good for the money. I was expecting something a little thinner and slightly more rubbery/latex sticky feeling. This mat isn't like a traditional yoga mat material but it still has that foam feel. It is very thick which I like because I have bony knees which generally hurt against the hardwood floor without a second mat underneath. If you don't have strong ankles it may be hard for you to do balancing poses because the mat is so squishy. It also doesn't look like it, but it is surprisingly grippy. I like to practice in socks (because I'm a weirdo) and I never slip using this mat.This definitely doesn't hold up to the quality of more expensive mats but if you are just starting out or are as frugal as I am, this is an amazing bang for your buck. Very excited about this mat and have been using it exclusively in my home since I got it.

Great Yoga Mat!! Very comfortable and a nice size. The mat has just the right amount of cushion and support. I'm not sure why the person in the previous post said there was a chemical smell. I detected absolutely no smell at all with my mat. No rubber or chemical smell like other mats can have. It is completely free of any odor. As far as the mat curling up... I reverse rolled my mat after receiving it and within a day or two the mat lays flat as it should with no issue. A very simple solution for anything that has been rolled up. I contacted the company and received wonderful customer service to my questions prior to purchasing this mat. A great company with wonderful yoga products!! I also purchased the Clever Yoga strap and am very pleased with the high quality of that item as well. Love all the vibrant colors too. Thank you Clever Yoga!!!

Being a new-comer to yoga, I didn't know a lot about the supplies I needed and did a lot of research before settling on the Clever Yoga mat. I absolutely made the right choice; this mat is fantastic! My old mat slid all over the place and was too soft so I couldn't keep my balance well. The Clever Yoga mat stays in place, and the 1/4" thickness is soft enough to cushion my knees but firm enough that I can still hold my poses. I also love that it's made with environmentally friendly, non-toxic materials. It's lightweight, easy to clean and initially had only the slightest hint of an odor which quickly dissipated. This mat does not come with a carrying strap, but I purchased a Clever Yoga mat strap for about $7.00, and that too is a great product as it can also double as a yoga strap. My one issue: the ends of the mat don't lay completely flat, but I attribute this to the lighter materials used, and this is just me nit-picking. It's not that big of a deal as the rest of the qualities more than outweigh this one tiny negative. Overall, this is a great mat for a very reasonable price and I would recommend Clever Yoga products to anyone looking to get into yoga. Side note: The customer service of Clever Yoga is also great; I received multiple emails from the company owner checking to make sure I received my products (which I did very quickly) and making sure I was happy with everything. It's so refreshing to be treated with such care and interest.

I had high hopes for this mat after reading all the stellar reviews. I've been doing yoga for close to 10 years and have owned half a dozen different yoga mats including ones from all the big names. The one problem I have had with almost every mat I've purchased is finding one that is truly sticky so you don't slip wither when your hands are very dry or when they are wet. Unfortunately, this one just wasn't sticky enough for me. I did a side-by-side comparison with my trusty Prana Eco mat and the Prana is definitely a lot more sticky. Since this Clever Yoga mat does have a different texture on each side, I tried both just to be sure. The wavy pattern side did seem to be better, but still not enough to become my mat of choice. The overall design of this mat looks great and the thickness is very good too. Many mats tend to be too thin for my liking also and this one was thick and cushy. I've heard great things about this companies customer service and I'm certain I could send it back without any problem. Will most likely keep this mat as a backup or donate it to my local studio.

I purchased this yoga mat for relaxing and keeping fit.This mat is long enough so I can stretch out on it and do various gestures easily. I don’t exactly know the materials it used. I feel very comfortable while resting my foot and hand on it.The strong and durable material allows you to grip it firmly, that can avoid slipping in doing yoga. There are so many vibrant colors to choose from. I ordered the orange that can make me energetic and happy.The mat also is okay to use on a hard surface like the hardwood floors. It is lightweight and easy to roll up or stretch out. It cleans up easily.

Soy una persona que suda muchísimo y el piso de mi departamento es resbaloso. Este tapete funciona increíblemente con la parte antideslizante para el piso, ya que he sudado mucho evidentemente empiezo a deslizarme un poco en él pero no me resbalo como para caerme ni nada por el estilo. El grosor es ideal para no sentir el piso pero tampoco para que se vea tan grande. Es el mejor tapete que he tenido.

I have placed Clever Yoga Mat Exercise Mats and Workout Mats for Home Gym Studio Foam Mat Non Slip (Gray), but I received unbranded above mat.

This yoga mat is great value for the price. I like the fact it is two sided and anti slip. The close cell construction make it gentle on your feet and spine. The mat really holds its shape doing any posture and is oversized as well. I just wish it included a carrying strap or bag with the purchase.

I purchased two of these mats for at home workouts and yoga, they are at best a protective layer between my weights and hardwood floor. As an avid yogi I typically use a Jade or Bmat however did not want to spend that kind of money for some occasional use secondary home mats. Honestly if these were $25 I wouldn’t be so mad about it however for the price these are a huge disappointment. They stretch under your feet and offer little grip with even the slightest amount of sweat - lastly, the colour was not as expected which is really the least of my worries here but another disappointment nonetheless.
