Xl size is just right for this fat old man. Keeps 22lr mark 4 Handy while planting trees or grabbing weeds on farm. Have to readjust frequently, but I appreciate the breaks to stretch old bones

Not a fan of the retaining strap/button. Not great if you're on the "hefty" side either.
Don't like the retaining button/strap. Other belly band makers tend to make them magnetic which I like more. Fits my J frame well though and overall feels decent quality. You should know, if you're on the hefty side or have a big belly it tends to slip down and i didn't find it comfortable at all. I won't blame the product though just because I can't say no to a chocolate bar. Maybe a skinnier version of myself will like it more.

If you’re thinking of getting one, do it!
I was looking for a comfortable way to carry with light summer clothes. I really didn’t think I would like a band around my waist like this so I kept putting it off. Wife said, “just try it”. I love it! Very comfortable, doesn’t cause sweating (yet, I’ll see what hotter temperatures bring) and secure holding! Can’t beat it for the investment!

Good for short term.
The belt itself worked great. For the price I did not expect any kind long term integrity of the hook and loop as well as the elasticity but it was great.What let me down was the elasticity of the straps which held my items in place. After about a half year of daily use the straps began to loose elasticity and ultimately fail to secure anything during everyday movement.As the point of this item is to keep things secure, I think for the price point it lasts long enough. But once it is done…it is done.
