CocoonCPG35GY Wrap Case For 7-Inch Tablet (Gray)

What I Like: It's part case and part grid it. I was mistakenly under the impression that all the grid its were dual cases. but they are really just boards. I LOVE how snugly my kindle fire HDX fits in here, previous cases were loose bc they're just made for 7in tablets and fit an iPad Mini. I am able to fit an external 5200mah charger, 3 charging cords, stylus, and 2 charging cubes, and an auxiliary cord. I like that there's a cover to really hold everything down so I don't feel like my cords or going to come loose in my bag. There's a nice thick barrier inbetween the grid it and the case part so my kindle feels very well protected and unscathed by my numerous items.What I Don't Like: The velcrow doesn't feel like it'll last long, however that's not to say much because it has not let me down yet! It has that thin feel where you feel like eventually the fuzzy part will give out. I'm going to trust that this product was well made because everything else is superb quality.

This is the second Grid-It wrap case that I've purchased. The first one was purchased for my daughter, who loves hers. She uses hers to keep her gadget accessories on and in for her laptop. I purchased mine to hold both my iPad Mini and accessories. It's perfect!The only thing I wish it had was a flat handle, so I added one on the opposite side as the flap. I made it to lay flat against the edge of the case and now I can grab it more securly! The only caution I'd like to mention is to keep the velcro away from the outside of the case fabric as it will snag it. I wonder if the company ever thought about changing the loop and hook to avoid this. But once you are aware of this, you just have to continue to be mindful of it when you use it. Whether you chose to purchase the Grid-It grid or wrap case, you will really love this item and probably order more for family/friends.

I like it! only reason for not giving this a 5 is if your table already has a protective case (I use one with is very slim), its tough to get it in the pouch. I had to ditch the case of my ipad mini to use it with this case on a business trip. If you want to use this to secure a wall charger or battery pack, you may have a bit of trouble, it gets bulky and the cover may not reach the Velcro to secure it, but no problem with other smaller stuff.

It's a stretch (no pun intended) to close the wrap even when it's empty. I don't have a lot of things in this case and it still ends up looking like an ill-fitted burrito.Then, there's the velcro design fail. When you have the case unwrapped, flat open, the hook side is face down. The hook side is the part that catches and scratches things. Not so bad if you unwrap it on a hard surface. But not so great if you open it on carpeting or a bedspread or...Cocoon needs to make the flap longer to accommodate items in both the case and the grid. And they need to be more thoughtful about the velcro situation. One suggestion would be to reverse the hook and loop placement and add another swatch of loop near the hook side, so that when you have the case open you can tack the hook side onto that.

This is such a neat organizer. So far it's been great. Going to get a larger one too

Recently took a trip with this and it was perfect. Tablet will fit snuggly and there is not room in that pocket for even a silicone skin so keep that in mind. However, the flap is very flexible and stretchy neoprene and that's a real plus when you are loading up the grid so you can conceivably carry a stand and your cable and power block and a USB 10 foot extension cable and still seal the velcro closure without much difficulty. I know, because I did. I would imagine your success would depend on the type of stand you choose.

Ordered this as a gift. I was so impressed I asked for it as a gift for myself this past Christmas. I can fit so much into the grid (mouse, ipod, charger connectors, quick charge battery, laptop power cable, earbuds, and more). Fits perfectly into my backpack or briefcase. . I used to throw everything into a plastic bag and had to dig through all the cables untangling them . Now, it It feels great having everything organized and easily accessible. It is so organized it makes me happy.

Bought this for my iPad mini 2. I have a very slim Smart Cover, slimmer than the one recommended on the Apple site. The iPad barely with with the case. No way I could use it conveniently with a case, as it could barely be pulled back out.Even without the case, the fit was so tight that the flap barely made it to the Velcro to close. How in the world are you supposed to put things on the grid-it panel and still close it?I tried with my phone in the grid-it panel, and could barely close it, leaving a lot of Velcro exposed, which I'm sure will be a lint trap. Bad design.Other than that, it's a good idea, so I gave it 2 stars.Will return for a larger one. Too bad, hoping for a compact solution, but this is too small!

This is the best purchase I could have made for my iPad! The Gird store is so handy for storing all my accessories when travelling.

Perfect size for a second bag or good sized backpack. The pocket at the back keeps things in neatly, although originally for a tablet, it works just as well for other items such as paper, maps and brochures. Keeps the stuff you need a for a day at work or play neat and secure in the straps. No more tangled headphone cables or charging cords. Keeps everything all in one place organised and ready for use.
