It does work, But....

Does not really fit correctly in a new 3 or 4 series Gitzo Systematic
The bowl does not completely drop into the collar of the newer three or four series Gitzo systematic tripods. It only drops about half the distance and sits rather high on the tripod spider. More importantly in only covers about half of the collar depth so you will potentially be stressing the collar and spider when tightening it down. The sad thing is the actual vender stated this bowl would work correctly when asked after returning and other brand from the same vendor that did not work correctly.

Doesn't fit my Gitzo GT3533LS
This 75mm adapter does not fit the 70mm opening in my Gitzo GT3533LS which I believe is considered a Series 3 Systematic. However, I bought this tripod in 2019 so maybe Gitzo increases the hole size?

Low cost alternative does the same job as GITZO part.
Works perfectly. This will fit GITZO 3, 4 or 5 series systematic tripods. Compared to the Gitzo bowl at more than 3X the cost, this works perfectly. Also fits Induro 2,3,4 and 5 series "Grand" (systematic clones)

Not for Series 3 Gitzos
Way too large for the series 3 Gitzos. Inside diameter is less than 70mm. This part exceeds that by a healthy margin. It does have the retention channel, but its useless as the whole thing sits on top of the main casting.

Way to big
Does not fit into my 75mm bowl on my 2vetssportinggoods 40MM. Not even remotely close to fitting flush it sure if it’s a different series or just out of spec.

This bowl Adapter is made to fit two different size tripods. For the 75 mm flange I would appreciate a bit more depth on the flange. Otherwise , it's as advertised.
