2018 F-150 Throws Trouble Codes After Tune
First off I bought a NEW CTS2. What showed up was a USED CTS2. As soon as I plugged it in it showed the serial number of a different vehicle. So after figuring out how to delete that vehicle, I updated the CTS2 via PC. Then I got my F-150 set up. Installed the Economy tune and it failed. 2nd try and the install was completed. Now every time I start the truck I get a P0605 PCM Memory Failure trouble code. Returned the truck back to stock and the trouble code is gone.NOT HAPPY I GOT A USED ONE FOR THE PRICE OF NEW!I will try contacting Edge to see if they can resolve the trouble code issue and then I'm filing a complaint with Amazon on the seller of the CTS2 (Brand New Parts) for misrepresentation.

I'm really happy with this computer enhancement
I'm really happy with this computer enhancement. My 2002 5.3L Silverdo has much more power and acceleration now. If the gas mileage monitor is accurate, I am getting between 22 and 27 miles per gallon depending on where I am driving - city or highway. Without the EDGE CTS2 I was getting 0 - 60 in 12 seconds; now I am getting sub 9 second times. It's by no means a screamer, but performance is substantially improved. Also, I added Cold Air Induction and a performance dual exhaust system so some of the improvements may have come from a combination of those upgrades.

Amazing performance enhancement and better gas mileage
I used the economy tune after I replace the intake and exhaust system. I received an amazing performance enhancement and better gas mileage. I upgraded my tires from 32" high to 35". The tuner re-calibrated the speedometer perfectly. I love having the extra gauges. With an add-on, the CTS2 allows you to control your light bar, and other accessories, from the touch screen. What a great product!

2003 GMC Yukon 5.3
Installed on a 2003 gmc yukon with a 5.3. Super easy to install and use. It really woke the the truck up in economy mode. Better acceleration, power and firmer shifting. Before I installed this my truck it had a really slow shift from 2nd to 3rd and now it is gone. Went from 13mpg to almost 17mpg. I havent tried the other power levels. Mainly bought this for better fuel economy. I drive 32 miles a day round trip for work. 25+miles at 65mph. Excellent display and the gauge selection is awesome.

Works well (sorta)
Works okay as a programmer and as an extra set of gauges, I like the boost gauge and the digital readouts of other gauges.Edit update: After using it for some time I have to go down to 4 stars as I have realized the MPG read out is far from accurate. When I am going down hill and my built in gauge reads well over 30 MPG this reads 15-17 MPG and then when I go back up and my truck is reading 14-16 MPG this read 25+ MPG. Something is messed up in the MPG system on this device.

Great Programmer
I got this to help with the turbo lag and shift points as well and needing to adjust the speedometer due to putting larger tires on my truck. Installation was easy and set up went well. I had no problems updating the firmware on the unit before connecting to my truck. Also had no problems installing the mid range tune.It did improve performance, my 0 to 60 time before the install was 7.8 seconds in 397 ft.After the tune my 0 to 60 time is 7.0 seconds in 359 ft. Im sure it will do a little better than this if I launch differently, but I can tell a differance for sure. Daily driving is not affected by this tune. The more aggressive tune requires running higher 93 Octane. I have not tried this tune yet.

Not worth it.
Bought this to do two things. Improve fuel economy, and eliminate the 4-8 cylinder function that swaps back and forth. I’ve accomplished neither with this programmer. The options seem to be very limited. You can choose stock, street, towing, etc.., but you can’t really dial anything in particular in. Fuel economy hasn’t changed either on the street setting. Pretty disappointed for the price.

Good Seller!!! Awesome tuner!!
This seller shipped my device the same day and im very pleased with that. Now, a month has passed and I have to say that I am in love with this tuner. A couple of things you need to know b4 you buy. If you have a stock F150 then you are not going to see much of a difference except for the speed limiter being adjusted to about 120mph and if you dont change the timing to about 2 to 3 degrees then you will not see any difference at all. Also, keep in mind that if you are contemplating adding more mods or CAI and exhaust then know that this tuner has the AFE CAI in it. Meaning that you can pair this device with the AFE which I did and im very happy with the peformance and sound it produces. Also know that you have to go to the custom setting for your race tune, to adjust a few things to get what you are looking for out of this device. If you just hooked up this tuner to your truck and uploaded the race tune to the ECU, then you are going to be very disgruntle with this tuner. So, if you are running everything stock, then the only thing you can adjust is the timing and the shift level to moderate or extreme! This will improve the truck shifting gears and it will make a difference when driving. Also, for those of you who claimed it only lasted one year, then perhaps you needed to cover the tuner with something and not let it get beat up by the sun everyday. Is an electronic device ladies and gentleman. Electronics dont do so well in the sun, so what I did was! Just cut a little rectangular square of an old sunscreen I had and put it behind it to protect it from the sun. Hope this helps and will be updating this review in 6 months!
