Got this to replace a noisy fan in an older Costco-special HP 14" laptop.The first time I installed it, I didn't insert the power connector deep enough, so it wasn't turning on - it's hard to tell because the laptop fan only normally comes on when the system gets hot... but the BIOS will pop-up a warning during reboot that mentions a fan problem. After opening it back up, and inserting the power connector fully, the boot up error went away, and the fan worked fine (tested by running prime95 to create a load on CPU).

Item fit perfectly and install was easy. The fan worked and was very quiet.

This fan is a suitable replacement for the HP 14-df0023cl, which i bought at costco a few years back. Old fan was making a lot of noise, then struggling to start. This new fan fit perfectly and is very quiet. Check out youtube videos for information on now to replace the fan in this unit. Hardest part is opening the snap-together case.

Only lasted a few months. I now have to replace again

I was able to plug the connector into my HP laptop which it was supposed to fit according to the project description, however the connector was just slightly too big to clip in completely. It worked for about 4 months then quit.

Needed to replace the fan in my HP laptop because it sounded like a mini truck whenever I used my laptop. It now runs much quieter and my laptop doesn't heat up as much anymore.

I installed this fan a few months ago, and it just works. I forgot the fan is even there.
