It's a good book, very in depth about the players and coaches.

Full disclosure - I am a minor contributor to this book. However, I have learned so much about the '82 Brewers, a club I was so envious of as a White Sox fan, that I have really come to appreciate them. There are great bios of the players and coaches, and the game summaries really brought me back to 1982. I think any fan of the Crew will appreciate this volume.

As a contributor, I learned a great deal about the subject with my research. But it was the rest of the story on a group of characters that made up this unique baseball team that I learned even more and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know better.If you love baseball, you will love this team and the stories about the cast of characters making up Harvey's Wallbangers.

There is an absolute wealth of knowledge in this book. Any Brewer fan - no, any baseball fan will truly love the amazing stories and insight within this book. I loved contributing to it and learned so much just from the parts I wrote.

This is a thoroughly enjoyable treatment of the 1982 Brewers. Written by articulate baseball researchers, this book has it all: biographies of each player and coach, a history of the stadium and the passionate game accounts that made this season memorable. I will read and re-read.

An exciting an informative read for all baseball fans. Members of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) wrote this excellent volume which contains detailed biographies of all players and members of the coaching staff of the 1982 Brewers, as well as summaries of about 25 games, including the entire post-season.
