Brilliant read!
I hadn't heard of Ethan Watters until I started my MSc in Global Mental Health, but have thoroughly enjoyed this book so much I would recommend it as critical reading for any undergraduate psychology student. Every chapter ends with a reference list which is great if you want to read some more on certain topics. Order, read, enjoy and pass on! Definitely a work for everyone's bookshelf!

Fascinating
Fascinating comparison of symptoms of mental illnesses across the world. Makes one think critically about current classification criteria of "main stream psychology".
