I decided to take this baby out at work ( before my shift started). This rod and reel is awesome. It’s so light weight and quiet. My favorite part is the handle. It’s just comfortable and cushioned. I cause a baby bass and a turtle, the pole held up really well. The whole experience with this rod felt effortless. Planning a trip out on the boat in a few weeks so I’ll really get to see how it handles then!

I own Diawa, Lamiglas, Okuma and other rods that are nice. This brand fits nicely between the Diawa and Lamiglas. Actually on par with the Lamiglas's that are now made in China vs Woodland, WA. In many ways I think this one out preforms they're Chinese rods. Just the sheer looks of this thing is amazing! great fit and finish.Pros:- Cost: Preforms way above its price point. Way, Way above.- Super comfortable grips!!!- Love how the reel holder and screw that tighten/loosens the reel are one and the same piece. Have you ever un-tightened your reel only to have it stuck in the metal holder thingy? I know I have too many times and this is a great feature to pay extra attention to the details as it doesn't do it and will never allow that to happen.- Extra long handle makes for better casting.- So many eye holes for the line.- Cast distance improved for me.- Very Attractive.- The eyelets are small at tip and smooth so line just glides out- Arrived in thick shipping container with a soft carry case. Thats a nice bonus.-Cons- I would sacrifice one of the eyelets for a hook holder at the rear. Surprised not to see one installed.- The cool matrix pattern from the bottom area of the rod doesn't go all the way to the top of the rod.All said and done great rod. If it breaks I would buy another.

It also looks really cool, my son loves the colors, I like the aluminum wheel lock for the reel, it is of high quality. The ceramic line guides are really nice to help the longevity of my fishing line. It also seems really sensitive to fish bites. It's a very comfortable rod to hold for long periods of time. I would definitely buy this again since I see my son and I going to this rod over our other rods so we might as well have two.

I just gotta say... This is my first carbon fiber fast action rod and I'm so glad I bought it. What a different feel from my other MH rods. I LOVE THIS ROD !! As soon as I pulled it out of it's sheath I had a smile on my face. The eyelets are smooth and straight as an arrow :) The seat lined up perfectly for my PLUSINNO RE3000 reel I bought last month. This is the perfect combo for my pond and also Mosquito Lagoon, where I get to as often as I can. It's got a Pro Look, is light, strong and perfectly balanced in my hand. Love Love Love this rod paired with the RE3000 reel. PERFECT :) Thanks PLUSINNO for making great products and great prices. I buy everything I can from you guys because I truly appreciate a company that thinks of their customers and puts them first.

Disclaimer... I'm pretty new to fishing. But like most others new fisherman, I'm finding plenty of reasons why I need more rod/reel combos. After buying the plusinno elite hunter rod and liking it more than my Ugly Stik GX2 (jury is still out on durability/longevity) I decided to give the Red Eagle a try. Based on what I can tell so far, the rod is nearly identical to the elite hunter, minus the different color and grip. Its lightweight, but both stiff and responsive. The reel is a nice bonus, but nothing special. All in all, this is a great deal!

I fished it this weekend and it performed amazingly. The rod is perfect for casting lures and transmits the strikes to the hand very well. I put 15lbs braid with a 8lbs fluorocarbon tip and its absolutely slayed.

I could find no faults with this product. Reel fits snug and secure. Everything looks as it should. Handle can be right or left, and they even send an extra nut which is nice for those of us who drop and lose things. Although I probably won't remember where I put the spare. I spooled it up with 10# line and gave it a go. Casts and retrieves smoothly. Nice feel and no rough spots on the eyelets. Drag adjust easily and works correctly. Didn't have any problems with line twist. Threw a variety of weighted lures and they all cast well. Rod is sensitive and strong enough to handle what I fish for. Overall a really nice combo at this price point. Better than any of the ones I have picked up at discount stores. We'll see how well it holds up over time, but it looks like it should do well. Can't see where they've skimped on anything.

Amazing reel and rod, very responsive and reel is smooth and casts far! Very pleased with this purchase! I feel like this is probably worth more, so it's a good value. I'm sure I'll catch tons of fish!

Rod is very good but the reel is POOR at best. Casts good enough but looks and feels cheap. Does not spool line properly and and bail do not close when you turn handle. You can buy equivalent rod and reel quality at C Tire for 25$. The reel is absolutely poor, had to replace it. Not a good buy.
