Works good on my laptop wish I worked on my DVD players in the US but at least I can still watch it

I bought this movie on a whim .I like Dakota Fanning a lot.She's always been such a little sweetie-pie.Although it's a silly fairy-tale, I actually like that sort of stuff from time to time. It helps me to unwind after a bout with the evening news.Dakota [or Duck Odor,as I sometimes call her] is an excellent artist that I admire quite a lot.Good Luck with your life, Miss Fanning.

I was worried buying pressed but it was completely scratch free and I love this movie so much I was so happy when it showed up thank you sm happy holidays♡♡♡

One of my favorite movies

Hansel & Gretel was o.k., but I like the Cannon Movie Tales one better. It kind of dragged on and on and on with Howie Mandel, even though I've always loved him-especially in Little Monsters. If given the opportunity to preview it before purchasing, I would have passed on the purchase and bought another movie that I truly like better. valilly

I order this movie because it was a childhood movie to me and I use to watch it on VHS. It is so hard to find it and I found this at a really good price, sweet deal. I did notice when I got the movie, I am use to seeing thing's in a covered protector of plastic so you know its new, it didn't have it but the insert does explain it and guarantees its brand new. My family loves it and we watch it over and over!

Well worth your money. The movie arrived very early. A very fun satire for the whole family. Some people are complaining about it not working here. That is true if you have a DVD player that does not play movies from other countries. I just bought a Tojock DVD player and it plays DVDs from this country as well as other countries without issue. This movie will make you smile and forget about all the craziness going on today for a bit. I definitely recommend it.

does not play on any dvd player easily accessible. you have to have a kind i’ve never even heard of. so sad i spent my money on this. loved this movie as a kid and i wanted to share it with my little sister but i can not. and on top of that the wait was so long! waited about a month so i was even more let down when i couldn’t watch it. a whole month of being excited to be completely let down. wish i could give it less than one star.

"Hansel and Gretel" is pleasantly relaxing family viewing. It's a sort of made-for-TV pantomime. It makes no attempt at any sort of reality and is quite "tongue in cheek", but fun. If you enjoy Pantomimes and watch it in that spirit you'll like it. Low-brow yes, but well written and put together. It's a lot better than a great many US made melodramatic family movies.

Quality rubbish,acting terrible children gave up after 10mins

This is a modern re-telling of a children's classic, with some colourful characters creeping in from other stories. My kids (aged 7, 9 & 12) enjoyed it a lot. It was quirky and funny, but still a little frightening at times for the youngest. A nice addition to the family movie collection. It could even encourage mum and dad to re-read the fairy tale at bedtime as a cosy follow-up!

I bought this for my granddaughter, who knew of the story but had never read it or seen it on tv. She loved it and now tells her friends about the house made sweets.

I bought this for our three year old grandchildren . I was very unhappy with DVD I thought it was going to be the story as we know it. It was all funny characters in it. Would definitely no recommend it my girls were petrified
