Car Phone Holder for 2013-2018 Toyota RAV4 Auto Accessories Navigation Bracket Interior Decoration Mobile Cell Phone Mount

I only bought this one because I like where it attaches on the vehicle. I don't like vent attachments. Due to other reviews I knew before buying that the mechanism of holding the phone really only works well if the phone is vertical and that it doesn't work horizontally. Despite that being (in my opinion) a major design flaw, there is currently no other similar device for the Rav4 that doesn't cost 3 times the price. I was hoping I would be able to use the attachment for this device and perhaps connect the "ball" of the device to another phone holder that I already own. I have been able to do that (see below for update) using some thin rubber to account for size and now I can connect my phone and hold it either vertically or horizontally. Oh and I would like to say it did in fact connect very solidly to the car (I followed advice in a review to push firmly on the ridge that attaches just below the hazzard button).Edit - The above modification wouldn't hold the phone steady over bumps so I ended up disassembling this product and using the back face of this (which connects to the "ball". I used a drill and small screw to connect it more firmly to the MPOW phone holder I already had. Now it seems really solid. If only it came like this out of the box it would be 5 stars. I kept it at 4 because it does do what it reports to do, it just can't hold the phone horizontally.

The idea is good but in practical terms it didn't work very well for me. It eventually broke where it attaches to the dash. It needed a 2nd place to be secured as it was never very steady. The phone seemed too heavy for the holder.That being said, it was better than many on the market

It says that it is for my year of vehicle but the spots that it has for like vent control are not on my vehicle so it’s just open holes. It does clip on well but comes off when trying to remove my phone. And I ultimately ended up removing it cause it was scratching the plastic underneath.

I’m only giving this 3 stars for a few reasons. First it’s super easy to mount and so far my phone has not fallen out.The reason for 3 stars.1. The bottom doesn’t slide down enough and it looks and feels like the phone sits too high up.2. I wish that the mount it hung down a bit more but I do understand it doesn’t because of the vent.3. There’s no type of quick release in getting the phone out. You kinda have to move the mount arms to release which makes it a pain when you are in a hurry. It’s the same when mounting it. You have to tighten the arms around the phone since there’s no way for them to automatically tighten like other mounts for other cars I’ve had.You could mount this the same way on the left side of the steering wheel but since I’m very right dominant I feel this would be awkward for me.All in all this mount will work until I find something better. I don’t love it but I don’t hate it.

I bought this for 2019 Rav 4 and was extremely disappointed when I tried to install it. In going back over the reviews I saw that you must apply pressure to lock it down to the air vent bottom. I did that and it is rock solid. Not a perfect fit as my air vents do not have the dials to close them but it will hold the phone steady.UPDATE - a previous review mentioned that it blocks the nav screen. It kinda does at the very bottom. However it does block the middle of the AC/Heat panel. It would be nice if there was a horizontal mounting optionANOTHER UPDATE - my iPhone XR is held very securely by this mount and I can turn it horizontal with no modifications to the mount. I do have a case on the phone and perhaps it does make it fit more securelyONE MORE UPDATE - no longer holds phone securely. Wish I could find something that's mounts similarly to replace it

I like the look on the dash and out of the way from the air vent. And safe from that crazy driver.lol

I have a 2021 RAV4 XLE. The mount snaps into place over the hazard light. You have to make sure it snaps in or it will fall or will be loose. My only con for this device is that I do have the IPhone 13 pro max and it does fit bit not a convenient in and out with even a thin case on. It doesn’t fit very snuggly but not if you constantly taking it in and out. I just wish I would have gotten the magnet one instead but overall this it a great product once you get passed the user errors of other reviews and snap it into place securely

I was able to install this over my vent on my 2021 Rav4 Prime SE. Although this was designer for order Rav4 that had vent control wheels. Rav4 prime doesn't have wheels for vent control. But it fitted in place fine and secure.Samsung Note 20 fitted in fine and looks securely. Although if you drive over a bump little aggressive, the phone will jump out because the phone is staying in the holder due to gravity.

Easy to install. Fits perfectly with 1cm thick case. Although sometimes its on the way of the display when on vertical position

Unit was good held phone but did not stay in place kept falling off checked mounting and was in place correctly but kept comming off only reason Gavin 3 stars

I bought this and waited awhile for it to arrive but that didn’t matter because I was excited for this cell holder.But it doesn’t fit my 2020 Rav4. It’s too loose and I think they sent me a used product.I’m very disappointed. If you read this, don’t buy it and listen to the other bad reviews.

This is a poor product . It is not compatible with Rav4 21 as advertised. Even in the box it came with saying 2019-2020 only . Loose and not secure. Am not happy with it. I won’t recommend it to anyone.
