I got doused with scalding water at work and suffered a pretty nasty second-degree burn to the entire side of my torso - the only reason my legs didn't get burned just as badly was these pants. You can actually see where the burn stopped right at the waistband, even though the pants were just as soaked as the rest of me. Durable, comfortable, and very affordable, with plenty of pocket space - what more could you want in chef pants?Only complaint is that they do run a bit small, so it's best to get a size up from what you think you need. Other than that, fantastic product. Would buy again.

These are super comfortable and priced cheaply for Dickies. I got these for my Food and Preparation class in college even though I'm a Nursing major, I plan to use them as scrub pants after the class. These pants get thrown in the washer and dryer and never shrank (even though I hoped they would). I'm 5'8 and got the mediums for comfort room when I normally buy smalls in pants. the mediums fit perfect, they were just really long! they drag on the ground even with my shoes on. Just wear some heightened shoes or hem the bottom, other than that they're still fantastic!

Good quality chef pants for a great price. The pants are solidly constructed and fit well. I would order these again. They were a little long for my girlfriend but she just used hemming tape and fixed that problem quickly.

They are thick and very low on the waist. Each time I reach into the lowboys at work have to hold the back of my pants just to keep my underwear from showing. The pant legs are too long and snag on my shoes going up stairs so I will have to mend them. I wear them as a last resort.

They were a HUMUNGOUS extra small sized pant. Otherwise they are really nice pair of work pants.

I have 4 pairs of these pants, all the same size, all ordered from same seller. 3 of the 4 fit perfect, and match the listed dimensions. One pair, the waist is very low, and the pants are far too long. For the price, can't be beat. I could have exchanged the one pair, but it wasn't a huge deal. Just some inconsistencies in sizing. Also, the back pocket is coming unsewn on a couple pairs.

The material was heavier than I expected, but I got used to it after a couple shifts. I had the same butt problem a lot of the other reviews mentioned, but tying the drawstring a little tighter solved that issue. They are very comfortable and fitted just enough that I can run errands after work and feel like a casual woman instead of a sweaty, greasy line cook.Washed and reworn twice with no issues, so I ordered a few more pairs before writing this review. Had to return these. The size chart is accurate, but I found that when you try to sit or bend at the waist, the pants pull down your backside. Not overly useful in a kitchen where much of the day is spend bending and crouching. You run the risk of showing everyone your underwear. It's to bad because otherwise the pants would have been great.

Was really excited for these pants, arrived earlier than expected. If you are ordering these order a size or two up as they fit small.
