The Ultimate Journey

In quarantine with the virus, I found the videos made from the Ultimate series by Jim Stovall, and watched all three. This led me to reread the series for it reinforces what is important in life. The ultimate secret is to identify what is truly important in life and live every single day focusing on that. Jim Stovall has created a great book series that everyone should read to have the best in life.

This book is amazing! I would highly recommend this book to all. Life is a journey. We can focus on the negatives or the positives. Sometimes I get stuck in the everyday minutia; and feel as if I’m drowning. This book helped me realize I need to stay focus on the bigger picture. To continue to focus on the positive. Accept what life brings. To be the best I can be daily. And to be grateful for all that I have and for everyone in my life - past, present and future.

The book is similar to the 1st two books in the trilogy (The Ultimate Gift and The Ultimate Life). The Ultimate Gift kept me wandering what was going to be required to meet the requirements to receive the estate. Then in The Ultimate Life, although repeated, the nephew is required to defend what he learned through the first challenges. It's like one layer on top of another. The Ultimate Journey is the 'icing of the cake.' I decided to take one chapter a day as a way to savor and reflect upon the values presented. I enjoyed and looked forward to reading a chapter each morning.

This is the third in the three part Ulitmate Series - the other two being "The Ultimate Gift" and "The Ultimate Life", Of the three, The Ultimate Journey, was a clear disappointment. It was clearly based on the two movies of the same names ... The Ultimate Gift and Ultimate Life. Although the movies were nice, they took many liberties with the original story lines. The Ultimate life, BOTH movie and book, were clearly created based soley on the movies; rather than the story line of the original books. They had many direct conflicts to the original stories - some so obvious that I had to question why they diverted from the lessons and original story line - including relationships, characters, and even plots. Very disappointing as a third book in the series titled "Ultimate Series".Wish I could enthusiastically recommend this book; however, I can NOT.

Started reading this as a way to pass the time while sitting outside dressing rooms when shopping with my wife. Really got into it and enjoyed the life lessons packed into the narrative. As I reached the end I came across the movie and watched it. (The book is definitely better). I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I found this book to be a quick, light yet thoughtful read about what is important to living a full, purposeful life. This book will guide a reader to think about his/her life and what ways one may think differently about past and present circumstances so as to make decisions that will improve the quality of life. Enjoy the story and think about what you truly want out of life.

Very well written book with lessons for everyone. It offers interesting page turning reading and offers life lessons without seeming to and without preacing. It is sublte but gives a knockout punch to the gut. Really, to my mind, a book about whih you will reflect long after you've finished reading it. In my humble opinion it is a "tour de force". Well done! Highly recommended. A 'Journey' well worth the easy ride everyone should take. Easy to read. What a gift!

Purchased on Kindle - this is a lovely thought-provoking book. Most definitely worth a read.
