I would totally recommend this to people who need a good laugh here and there. For those who are rebels at heart like Aqueela (protagonist) or for those who just love romance just as much as me. This book made me laugh countless of times and made me cry too!! I’ve read this book many times already and it still hasnt failed to bring a smile to my face. I love how all the characters get their own scenes and not only just about Aqueelas life. I also love how well written the book is, it makes me feel like im in it. I give this book a 10 out of 10 bubble gum ice creams :) <3

I absolutely LOVE this book. It was one of the first books I really fell in love with on wattpad and I’m so proud of the author for making it this far. Congrats to the author on your fantastic characters and stories.

Loved everything about this book but I do miss the original draft. It was more heartfelt and realistic. But this version is good too.

I enjoyed reading this story. But im not a fan of all the fighting, hitting, slapping, punching.. that's not normal! On occasion yes, but this story is literally full of it. It's not funny.

I read this book on Wattpad for the very first time in elementary school. (back when it had its old title; R.I.P HBK (,:) and it quickly became my favorite book of all time. I graduated high school last year and *insert not-so-subtle flex here* I actually remember CJ Adler replying to my Wattpad comment * “I remember reading this book when I was in the fifth grade.” * (I think I was in fifth or sixth grade; definitely elementary school though.) * She asked me what grade I was in now. * That was the peak of my existence in the book world because like I said, I adore this book and the author. <3 I was kind of shocked at the price because $20 for a paperback is a lot of money UNTIL I realized just how long this book is. Price? Justified. For the quality? Absolutely not. The first thing I noticed was the huge glob of glue holding the book together. This instantly made me worry. Rightfully so because just as I started reading, it started to fall apart. Literally. When I close the book, you can see the pages that keep slipping out even after I insert them back into the spine. The second thing I noticed was the formatting. Oh my gosh, what happened…? The third thing I noticed was the grammatical errors. I was a few pages in and wanted to jump off a cliff and NOT in a super cool #Jayeela way. It’s really hard to read and annotate it when it’s…crumbling to pieces. I’m really sad because like I said, this is my favorite book of all time and it has such a special place in my heart that I don’t want to return it for another. (I don’t think a replacement will be any better since someone else had already left a review about their book falling apart as well.) I genuinely think it’s just the publishing company’s poor quality materials. I will be reaching out to Amazon to see what can be done.

I enjoy happy books, funny books, dramatic books, and fantasy books. This book has elements from all of those categories in my opinion. It's absolutely a fantastic read and ever since it was first published on Wattpad, has been my favorite book of all time. As CJ continues to add to the series (Fast Forward - book 3), I have re-read Pause and the second book in the series, Rewind, 4 times. From her writing, you can tell she has an extraordinary mind and a hilarious personality. I can say with the utmost certainty that no other book I've read has made me laugh or cry harder. This is a MUST read:)

I originally read this book on Wattpad several years ago, and it's one of those books that I kept thinking about for a long time. Now it's my comfort book - if I want to laugh for a while I read it on my Kindle. It is very not edited, so there are writing mistakes, but I think it kind of adds to the charm. Wonderful book, if you have the chance you should read it!!!

A book I have read multiple times and will NEVER get tired of. The plot twists, the witty comments, the ab forming laughter. This is my favorite book of all time. Thank you, CJ, for your undeniably incredible sense of humor.
