ASOLOPower Matic 200 Evo GV Gore-TEX Walking Boots

These boots were excellent and lasted for about 8-9 years before the sole finally came away. They endured many Scottish and Norwegian hiking expeditions and had top drawer waterproofing. I also used them regularly day to day, highly recommended, the best walking boots I've ever owned.

These boots were bought to replace my last pair, which are now over 15 years old. The heels on the old ones are beginning to crumble internally and pieces of rubber are peeling away. I think the use of crampons may have caused this.These new boots, the same size (10) as my last pair seemed a bit tight on first trying them out. I wore them around the house with a thin pair of socks to stretch them a bit. This seems to have worked and the fit has improved. With hindsight, I could have gone for the 10.1/2 size. However, they now seem fit for purpose and are very well made and good looking too. My walking is limited nowadays due to bad knees but these boots are my choice for comfortable footwear anyway. So no problem. Reccommended
