dry, supportive, and warm!
i used to wear bogs when i was younger. at some point i grew out of them and thought they were too dorky. it finally got to the point where i needed some new snow boots and i saw these, so decided to give bogs a try again. they’re my new favorites!!

Great Boots!
My partner had already purchased a different style of Bogs boots so I knew they were solid, warm, and comfortable. I decided to get the Rancher style because they were the most manly I found (short of the camouflage boots) and I need all the help I can get. I'm certainly not disappointed. These boots are incredibly warm and 100% waterproof. The neoprene uppers are tight enough that nothing gets in, but stretchy enough to fit over pants without feeling tight. I know that they are too warm to be much use outside fall or winter, so I'll probably need another pair when it's not so cold, but they are perfect right now. The only problem is that my feet get tired and cramp quickly in them, which is more a problem with my feet than the boots. It's not a huge issue because the inserts that they come with are easily removable and I can stick whatever orthopedic inserts in that I want.

Much better than expected
I've bought one cheap pair of rain boots in the past and those were for a Ace Ventura Halloween costume (yes I wore the pink tutu as well). These Bogs are on another level. I was in need of a good pair of mucking boots because my GF has 2 horses and we frequently go to the pastures where they are kept (pasture boarding). We live in Indiana and the amount of mud and horse poo we trudge through is mind boggling to me. I'm new to horses so im learning a lot these past 8 months, but it turns out the $250 cowboy boots I bought for "barn time" are not ideal footwear for muddy pastures. I wore these Bogs Ranchers to to barn yesterday for the first time and almost instantly knew that I made a smart purchase.. these are tall enough to keep mud and water from coming over my ankles, these are comfortable with good support, I can tuck my jeans legs inside the boots, they did not come off when I fought the suction forces of the deep mud, they provided excellent traction (this will be tested further as we set in for another winter storm headed our way), and they clean off nicely with a waterhose.I typically wear size 14 tennis shoes. My cowboy boots needed to be 14 wide, so I opted for size 15 in these Bogs Ranchers and I'm glad I did. Perfect fit on the first attempt. I will do my due diligence and recommend you too size up one size from you tennis shoes, but of course everybody is different and millions of other people have worn these boots before me, so take my recommendation with a grain of salt.I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!!As for the horses in mud situation, I have learned this is NOT the type of environment that these majestic beings should be living in. I've learned about all of the negative issues this environment can cause these animals, and my GF and I are attempting to get the land owner to resolve the issues. In the meantime, we are in the process of finding another boarding facility. Rest assured that these animals are loved, checked on and groomed frequently. It's all of the other horses in the pasture that I worry about the most. Theres approximately 30 horses there and other than the land owner, I've only ever seen a couple of other adults out there tending to their horses. Eventually we hope to buy land in southern Kentucky where we will provide a much safer environment for her horses....and if I have it my way......my future horse and several others.Go Bogs!!!

Great boots that run small
Great boots, warm, well designed and very tough. They are tightly fitted and are snug on my feet. I am hoping they will mellow out over time but definitely invest in a Boot Jack (or have a strong friend handly) to help get them off.

Very Happy with Bogs
Great boot. I've had them over a year now, they are holding up very well. They fit great, easy on, easy off. I like the lug on the back for easy removal. The top of the boot fits my calf a lot better than any muck boot I've ever had. Very warm. Overall I am very happy with this product. I would take Bogs over Muck any day of the week.2 1/2 yrs in, and still going strong. Great boots.

Buy these boots, these are a great pair of work boots
These are super boots, I couldn't be any more happy with these. My feet never sweat or get cold, these are year round boots. The sizes run big I usually fit a 10 to 10 1/2 with most shoes but the size 9 fits perfectly, I suggest trying a size down or going with the try it before you buy it option. These are my favorite boots and these things out perform any boot by far.

Waterproof, able to take hard work in comfort, and a good value
My first pair wor. I rate them a good value overall.e out in two years, with the heel counters breaking loose. I tried a new pair, size 9 as before, but they were way too tight, and I returned them. These are a size 10, and fit as I anticipated, a bit loose, but very comfortable with two pairs of socks. I'm still getting used to them, so I only wear them a couple of hours. They were expected to feel somewhat loose, being larger by one size, but I find that an advantage in putting them on and off. Apparently, they often wear out in a couple of years, so time will tell if these boots wear longer or not. I give them a lot to do, kicking, stomping, and breaking down branches and brush, kicking on shovels, and the like. I hope they last more than two years, but if they don't, I'll probably buy another pair. Oh, yes, I should mention, they are really quite waterproof in shallow water areas

Superb boot for our wonderful British weather
These have REALLY been put through their paces over the past 3-4 months, being used once-twice a day for long dog walks in a very flooded Surrey countryside. They're reassuringly heavy (but not too heavy to be uncomfortable) and well made and look like they're going to last well. If anything for me, they're a little on the large size and if possible, would have preferred 1/2 a size down but that's nothing that 2 pairs of socks hasn't solved. From the pictures online, I was a bit worried that they'd look a little 'girly', with the upper portion of the boot being fabric but when I opened them my girlfriend instantly said "wow, they look manly" and they really do - think rancher or builder's boot.I've waded into ponds and streams (right up to the top of the boot) and my feed and the boots' insides have remained 100% dry.IMHO so far, definitely a worth while investment for any UK dog walker.

Warm and heavy duty.
Very warm and rugged. The Rancher sole is more robust, solid and stable than the classic rounded Boggs sole and the rubber on the foot is thick and strong enough to give greater confidence around livestock. I have worn them in frozen mud and iced puddles and my feet have been entirely toasty and they are still light enough to use all day on the hill without them being tiring. They will probably not be suitable for summer wear and as the foot part is fairly stiff they do require some breaking in before wearing them on a long tramp through fields.

Love these boots
These wellies do come up a touch small - not too small that they don't fit at all but if you were to wear thick socks you might have a problem. If I were to buy again I would probably go a UK size bigger. Having said that they are toasty warm with just normal thickness socks, incredibly comfortable, the grip is great and they are well made.
