Read this book. Buy it new, used, doesn’t matter. You need to read this book.I bought it just because I love Darren’s movies and they always move my heart in amazing ways because of Holy Spirit’s work through them.He said in a podcast this was his favorite one, so I ordered it.My life is changed. God is my friend, the reasons for the things He does is all because of love and friendship. Not only with me but with all people who will come to Him.

Darren Wilson is a master storyteller!I was so impressed with this book. It’s like having a conversation with a friend. The book was both informative and extremely engaging, conveying real topics with the occasionally added humor. Dare I say it was a fun read?Book gives you a better understanding of the fundamentals of Christianity. You are able to wrestle with some of the harder topics with Darren’s personal stories as examples. Darren takes us on a journey of how he wrestled with a lot of the questions all of us have regarding our faith, and is also transparent and able to share what he doesn’t know.A great book to help you better articulate your faith. A definite re-read.Only Con: The binding. Although it’s great because of its flexibility (lays flat easily), I noticed some of the pages were starting to work their way out of the binding on my first read. I plan on re-reading the book and am concerned it won’t last repeated use.

In this book, you will get a true picture of GOD and how you relate to Him and vice versa. Having finished the book, I am saving it to return to read it at a future date. Speaking in an easy vernacular that is relative to today and non accusatory. Good read!

Excellent book! It is an easy read. It is funny and entertaining while at the same time being thought-provoking. Darren talks about many of the questions I have asked God and myself over my Christian walk. This book has challenged me to look at God in a different way. He is not waiting for the perfect moment to hurt me or make my life miserable. He is waiting for me to be his friend and to trust Him with my life.

Just finished this book. It was a little of what I expected, some humor and a lot of conviction. I’m truly grateful for the stories, insight and raw truth that Darren shares. If you’re not sure how you feel about God even if you know him as Savior, buy this book, read it and let it challenge your heart.

This is a transparent testimony of a man’s journey to an honest self reflective discovery that he had God all wrong. His humor at himself makes it relatable and entertaining.

This book came to my knowledge at the right time. God used this book as a tool to hone our intimacy!

This is another great book by Darren. All of his books are engaging and truly challenge the inner doubts and actions.

This book addresses questions in every Christian’s heart, the sort of questions that you’d be to embarrassed to ask

This book was really encouraging. The author has dedicated his life to documenting and sharing how God is at work in miraculous ways (some of the stories are crazy) and much of this came about because of his own hesitations about the character of God. The authors openness and struggle are apparent but even moreso apparent is how God came alive to Him through the written word and the living word.
