We were looking at Which? reviews, and wool, which we had never considered before, was recommended. We have been using these since before Christmas during some milder winter weather and also some freezing temperatures. As advised, they seem to adapt and keep the ideal warmth throughout. They seem thinner and slightly stiffer than feather or fibre duvets, but they mould lightly round your body and do a superb job. It is claimed that wool is anti-allergenic against dust mites. Its a natural and under-utilised product. There is an initial very slight lanolin aroma, comforting rather than troublesome. I am also recommending the wool-filled pillows. I won't be using any other filling in future.

I bought this to help with night time hot flushes, I think it helps me feel more comfortable. Whilst being warm enough for winter, it's also very light and easy to move on and off the body as needed. I like the fact it's natural materials and British wool, I haven't detected any wool odour (and I'm quite sensitive to smell). I would recommend a wool duvet to anyone - menopausal or not!

I tried the fluffy kind of wool duvet first (from another company) and it was massive and heavy and way too hot (I returned it). It seems there are two kinds of wool duvets, one kind where the filling is more loose and fluffy and this kind where the filling is flatter (more like a felt) and the duvet is constructed like a padded quilt. I bought this to replace a cheap, synthetic 4.5 tog duvet. It has a reassuring weight and stays put around your neck and shoulders and doesn't slide around on top of you, meaning that you're less likely to get uncovered and suffer a stiff neck at night. It feels much wider/longer than a normal duvet, it fits the case, but I don't know why it feels like you have more duvet but I'm not complaining, this is great! It's super warm and cosy but you never get sweaty. I read comments about a smell, mine only smells a bit of lanolin, it's a natural smell, not offensive and we've had it on the bed a week now and the smell is barely detectable. I am so happy with this duvet. So happy I plan to buy a guest duvet just the same!

This is the duvet I have been looking for years. I like being warm in bed but my it is usually too hot for my husband. This wool duvet is ideal since it keeps our body temperature as it is. It feels warm for me and not sweaty for husband. It is light and not smelly. Definitely best purchase of the year.

This is the third woolroom duvet we have bought and can’t recommend them enough. I have a medium which on the very hot nights was too hot so swooped to an ordinary 4 tog duvet it lasted three nights before I was looking up the price of the light wool duvet. The wool divers are miles better than ordinary ones. Not only do they keep you cool whilst still being lovely and warm they are wider than a normal duvet but still fit in the usual duvet cover. They drape really well and are really well made - don’t be put off by the made in Estonia or Lithuania labels they really are well made and fab quality and well worth the money. Would I go back to a poly/cotton duvet - no never ever.

I already have a lightweight wool duvet which we used all summer and we love it, but decided to buy the winter weight as my husband was feeling the cold at night. When it arrived it had a very strong smell of sheep, but fortunately it was a nice day and I was able to hang it on the washing line and leave it there for several hours. That was the only negative thing I could say about the duvet. It’s a lot lighter than the feather duvets we have always used and so much easier to get into the cover. It’s seems to be warm enough although we haven’t had artic conditions yet, and we manage to sleep very well under it. It’s well made and the wool doesn’t clump together like the feathers used to so doesn’t need vigorous shaking when making the bed. So far very pleased with it. The smell of sheep faded and was gone within a week, for us , it was a good decision and we have grown to love it.

I thought I would leave it a few months before I reviewed this product - to give it a good trial. I found the delivery to be swift and within time. When first out of it's packaging there was a very light sheep scent, after airing it it diminished and over time and use it has gone. Personally I found the scent reassuring, it's naturalness. I love this duvet, it does what it says - keeps our temperature regulated. I am menopausal and night sweats are frequent. The duvet is light enough to fling off if I really need to, which is much less needed with this duvet; yet weighty enough to give comfort and warmth. I wish I knew about wool duvets before as my sleep pattern has vastly improved and I feel rested in the mornings - a small miracle with hot flushes!

Me ha encantado en general. De primeras el envío ha sido rapidísimo, ya el producto cuando lo he abierto me he llevado una grata sorpresa, muy bien embalado dentro de una funda de lino y con un aire muy cuidado. Lo primero que he hecho ha sido olerlo por las diversas reseñas que comentaban de esta peculiaridad y si, tiene un olor ovejil, no es para tanto y se soluciona sacándolo de la funda y aireándolo. No me parece una desventaja entendiendo que estas fibras naturales a veces tienen olor (natural claramente), y por lo demás un exterior característico de algodón blanco con cuerpo para mantener un poco la forma del edredón y muy buenos acabados de costuras. Calidad por el precio muy aconsejable 10/10. Cuando lo pruebe actualizo la reseña.

I heat up a lot when I sleep, this product has been a life changing experience for me. It's extremely breathable, you can feel air pass through it freely, but at the same time it is incredibly warm. This duvet hugs you and embraces your entire body. I love it! I wish it wasn't so expensive because more people need to experience wool duvets.

Bettdecke aus Wolle. Habe sie gekauft, da mein Mann schnell schwitzt. Das Problem ist mit der Decke jetzt behoben. Ideal als Sommerdecke und für den Übergang. Würde ich wiederkaufen.
