Better than most similar items offered here
This was the third or fourth soap dish like this that I tried, all of the others didn't stick very well and didn't hold suction for any length of time. This one did, and the design is great, it swings up to clean underneath it and it's open so soap residue doesn't collect under your soap bar. The only draw back I've found with this item, and it's true with most suction type soap dishes is that if you happen to knock it off your shower wall after original installation it will never adhere to the wall again with any strength and will likely fall off shorty after being re-installed. I did this with mine and an here ordering a new one for that reason. But the price is great and prior to my clumsiness I had no issues with it.

Highly recommend
Love it! It stays in place and is sturdy. It allows the soap to drain after it has been use. I highly recommend.

Worthless!
This things has caused me so many headaches because it does not stick to anything. I first tried it with just the suction cup to the tile in my shower. I walk away and large crash within an hour because it fell off. I tried multiple different surfaces and could not get it to stick. Per the instructions I tried the little plastic ring and stuck that to the wall then after a day applied the suction cup. It stuck to that but the mounting tape ripped off the wall and all of it fell. Then I got really serious and used gorilla mounting tape on the plastic ring. Put it on with heat and left it alone for a few days put the suction cup on it and within 30 minutes another loud crash in the shower. The only thing I can think of now is putting a ton of super glue all over it or just throwing it away!
