I used this when snorkeling in Mexico. It allowed my 3 kids who had on life vests to easily locate me in the water. I am a strong swimmer, but having this was nice because I could roll onto my back and the float held me up out of the water enough to rest and make any adjustments needed. Very helpful little float. The storage bag piece was an added benefit. I didn't plan on using that portion, but ended up putting car keys in it once and it kept them dry. Great bag!

Product arrived in good condition. Nylon web belt is thick enough to be sturdy, but not cumbersome. Float seals completely & is watertight. Does just what you need it to do, but it will take some time for me to get used to having something strapped on me. Knowing boaters will be able to see it makes it well worth the cost & effort. Forget about free diving, must remove it first.

These seem like very reasonable quality and design at a reasonable price (when 2-for-$22).A great idea in case you get into some trouble while swimming or snorkeling.One had a slow leak, but Garberiel was very quick to ship a replacement. Test these before you head out!If storing valuables, I would use a Ziplock with ample air inside it, in case this buoy busts open.The insert says: "Do not put valuable things and electronic products in the bag," despite encouragement in the amazon listing to do so.The top of the insert says "SWIMMING LIFE-SAVING." At bottom of insert it says "Warning: this bag is not a life saving device." 😆They are 17-mil vinyl, which feels heavy enough if you are careful. Soft, not brittle.You might need a few minutes to figure out how to fasten the belt (see listing pics).

Needed the float quickly as mine was damaged and it came next day.

Swam over a mile with it and it was awesome

These are cheap and cheaply made, so I suspect that they may not be long-lived. But after a half-dozen swims, they have held up. I put my car keys and phone in a zip-loc bag before putting inside the dry chamber, but so far, they haven’t leaked.

This product is not legally usable as a flotation device, but it does exactly what it's advertised for. I could easily hold onto it and float, but a bit of water would get into it eventually. It'll work, but I wouldn't bet my life on it.It's also much more comfortable than the actual certified buoys that I've used, as well as being much cheaper. No regrets here.
