Chicago Steak Company creates magnificent filet mignons. However, its steak burgers are only mediocre. For ten dollars a pound, I would expect great taste and texture. I can get ground sirloin at the local market that has far better taste and texture for six dollars a pound.

Really tough for ground beef and virtually tasteless.

The ones still frozen were great, but the items arrived with about 1/3 of the burgers defrosted and I'm reluctant to eat them because of the very high temperatures we had at that time. However, I DO NOT blame Chicago steak for this issue. It was entirely UPS's fault. They rescheduled the delivery after it was on the truck stating weather conditions caused the delay. I live about 15 miles from their location and am still trying to figure out what the hell UPS is talking about. The frozen steak burgers are terrific. I will order them again.
