Tangy Gorgonzola with a Kick
This is my 3rd order of a specialty cheese from iGourmet. Once again, I am extremely pleased with the robust flavor, texture, and salty kick of the gorgonzola. I use this cheese for salads, as a topping on a baked potato, in homemade gorgonzola butter for steaks and toasted sourdough bread, and as a standalone appetizer with a glass of wine. I would definitely recommend this cheese to a friend, and I will purchase again in the future. Kudos to iGourmet for their excellent packaging. The container keeps the cheese cold. When this order arrived, there was still ice in the styrofoam container, even though the outdoor temperature was 94 degrees and the package had been on a FedEx delivery truck since early morning.

Middle of the road
So I love and try all kinds of cheeses, I have had this cheese before. The cheese arrived fresh the taste was good but and it could have just been this batch it was just uninspiring, the flavor was not as pronounced as I would have preferred.I have both better and worse of this type of cheese.

Too smelly for a hardy gorgonzola lover...
Received the cheese by USPS, which is probably a mistake for this cheese. The packing was not cold and a bit slimy by the time I received it. Don’t think it turned but not completely sure.If the strong smell/taste is normal for this brand of cheese be cautious when ordering. If you are used to buying crumbled cheese this is much, much, stronger. We normally buy small rounds and this was much stronger than that. We found the taste somewhat unpleasant—and we really like strong Gorgonzola.Found a video that suggested using lemon or vinegar (acids) to cut the taste of too strong cheese for use in dressings or dips:)We will probably not purchase from this vendor again.

Great taste nice fudgy texture
I LOVE this Gorgonzola!!!I’ve used it in Italian onion soup, pear and pecan salad, spread on pumpernickel toast, and nibbled straight off a spoon. I want to try it stuffed in gnocchi next. The texture is fudgy and can be gently sliced and divided into small pieces or spread. I though it was a lot to buy at once, but it’s not. It arrived in a box with freezer packs to keep it cold. I would definitely buy it again. It

I love gorgonzola cheese
I love gorgonzola cheese. I don't care for 'blue cheese' but Gorgonzola is one of my favorites and in salads.......yum. Sounds like a lot of cheese, and it is. But when you use a lot in a salad.........it goes quickly. This cheese was delicious. It kept well and I am ordering again as soon as I finish with the other 3 cheeses I purchased. You'll love this cheese, I'm sure.

Very strong tasting cheese!
Love blue cheese but this blue cheese is REAL strong!! Too strong for us, need to find a way to use it?????

Worth the money
This is the absolute pinnacle of Gorgonzola in my opinion. You can eat this sliced with charcuterie and it’s the best! This cheese will change your life if you like “stinky cheese”
