Yamaha New OEM Yamalube 10 oz Marine Grease, ACC-GREAS-10-CT

What can I say? It is oem Yamaha lube for a boat. If you have a Yamaha outboard, it is very useful for when you take apart the lower unit and reassemble. Great quality and better price than the dealer.

Works as described

This is a quality marine lubricant. But it's very useful beyond "marine" applications. I primarily use it to keep dirt out of the joints of my lawn mowing equipment that eventually makes moving parts stiff and hard to adjust. Because it's thick and water resistant, it stays where I put it and provides excellent lubrication as well as acts as a barrier to dirt and debris.

I used it on my outboard motor, which is a Yamaha 150. Replaced the water pump and the grease worked well.

That's a lot more than I will use in my lifetime.

I use this for saltwater fishing reels and its the best. The problem is that everytime I order one it has a small crack at the top seam which opens more as you squeeze. I duct taped the seam and all appears well but come on, what a hassle.

I like the tube when doing maintenance like lower unit bolts and little odds and ends on the boat and motor. It will not take the place of a tube of grease for the zerk fittings.
