What if my child has an itch on their face?

If wearing one NIPIT, of course they will use the other hand. If wearing two NIPITs, your child will still be able to scratch an itch on their face, but it will be very difficult and uncomfortable to do so. By design, NIPIT makes it very uncomfortable to reach the fingers to the face. Great question!

Can my child eat and write with this or does he have to take it off?

If it is on their dominate hand it would be very hard to eat with silverware or write detailed things with a pencil. But they could eat crackers or apples and use a crayon for broader coloring. The point of the thing is to prevent them from bending their elbow enough that their hand is close to their mouth.

Would this fit an 11 year old?

The fit depends on the child's arm size. For best results, elbow circumference should be 5" to 9" (14-22 cm). Measure around the circumference of the elbow. To check, use measuring tape, or wrap a string around the elbow then measure the string using a ruler.

Is this product made in china of the us? also does it hurt the child psychologically? just worried cuz i dont want any long term problems.

We just got ours in the mail today. I was excited to be buying a Made in USA product, but no. Right there on the packaging it says "Made in China". Very disappointed, especially considering the manufacturer clearly stated these were "proudly Made in USA". Not cool man. Not cool.
