Story Time (actual review at bottom):My husband and I always agree on a Christmas spending budget for each other...and then I'm the only one who follows it. He, on the other hand, treats it like the Pirate Code - "More like guidelines". After 10 years of marriage, I have figured out that I need to sit down with him about a week before the blessed December 25 and ask him how much he has spent. Otherwise, I (the rule-follower) will have gotten him 2 items and he (the it-was-a-good-deal guy) will have gotten me 5 items. #awkwardSo we sit down and I ask the question: "Honey, how much did you actually spend on me for Christmas?"He gives me a number that is, of course, 25% larger than the amount we agreed upon. And then he adds:"By the way, I saw something that I wanted to get you, but I wasn't sure if you'd like it. I mean, you're kinda extra, but I thought this might be a bit much even for you.""Okay, well if you're for-sure not getting it for me, why don't you just show me?" I say.As he gets on the Amazon search bar that we all know and love, he starts to type in "Women's medieval cloak."Now y'all. I don't know what I was expecting him to show me, but this was not it. I got SO excited. I didn't know they make FULL-LENGTH ponchos?? I have never thought to look for one!Well, guess what? About a week after Christmas, this phenomenal cloak arrives in the mail. Because of who my husband is as a person.ACTUAL REVIEW:I'm a small or medium most of the time, but I"m 5'6". This cloak fits awesome and is super warm. It's a good thickness of material for living in a climate that changes constantly from warm to cold. I gave it 4 stars because the buttons were a little too close together, but easy to move out. The armholes are okay, but maybe not for everyone. The hood drapes well. Overall, I love my new fashion blanket!

If you are using this as a cheap costume - then it's great. It's one step above your normal costume material, but it by no means looks anything like the ad pictured with the girl. It has no form, it is much thinner than it appears in the image, and is just in general, cheap looking. Mine also was missing a button and the piece that connects the two buttons was just laying on top of the cloak - so they clearly knew something was missing and shipped it anyway. Mine also got lost in the mail initially (which especially sucked b/c i bought it as a Christmas gift for my daughter and she didn't have anything to open from us on Christmas!) but the company did give me a refund for that, so I appreciate that. So yeah - if this was for a cheap costume, I would give it a 5, but because the image makes it look a lot more legit than it actually is, I give it a 3.

It's soft, the color is masculine and extremely lightweight. it needs some sewing work and weight work to be proactical

Fits nicely. Good quality for the price. Excellent vibrant color just like the picture. ..i.only wish it closed a little tighter... still has about a 3 inch open gap across chest when buttoned. A little too much cold air gets through.

My daughter was excited to get this, delivery takes about 3 weeks. She took it out of the bag and was happy. She liked the feel and the length. She was very disappointed once she put it on because the button broke 5 minutes after putting it on. They could have used a better quality button. But other than that she loves it.

In the picture it shows a piece of material that connects the two top buttons but either it doesn't come with it or mine was missing from the order. Material is a little lighter than i was expecting. Thought it would be more heavier like a jacket but its more like a sweater. but overall is fine for what i got it for. (to go over a costume) The length is great. goes right down to the floor. the color gray is exactly as pictured too.

I purchased this cloak for a last minute gift. I payed a little more than I would have otherwise because only one size and color shipped fast enough. This cloak however is of decent quality for not being a high priced item. The material seems strong and soft, it is long enough, and fits in a general way. There are some loose threads on the edges and cheap clasp buttons loosely sewed on, but threads can be cut and buttons sewed. Overall five stars. Thank you!

It’s ok but I was hoping for a higher Cotten content then 35% ... therefore it has a sort of foam backed feel to it which does not appeal to me. It’s very soft and has no firm structure to it. I’m 5’ 8” snd the XLarge was just above my ankles which is the length I want. I got the Grey color. Can’t see myself wearing it too often .... but the polyester will add some warmth to the lightweight cloak. The fit was good - I might just make my own !!

The material and everything was good. The hood and cape fits and after my wife added a bit more stitching to the button it’s great as a cloak. The arms holes are far up the cloak though and my daughter, at 5’3”, looks like a tyrannosaurus with her arms all scrunched up at the top.She loves it though.

I love this cape , it's my favourite piece of clothing right now.

As a short 5ft women, I had hoped it would look decent for my height but it looks short even on me! It goes past my knees but not anywhere close to my ankles. The quality of the fabric is still nice and the stitching is decent. I do like the arm holes however they aren't well aligned with my arms. They're close enough tho.It's still fun to wear but I was hoping for more based on the price and images the seller provided

I bought it for the length. I saw the picture their using and the fabric almost hits the floor. This hits just below my knee. Its badly made too. I folded the fabric in the picture so you can see the outside and inside. The inside has this extra fabric that's going to get caught everytime you move your hands outside the cape and that's just a hassle.Also this cape leaves the front open with a gap. I bought this for warmth and this definitely won't help with that. The advertised picture shows that the cape will at least cover the gap or the fabric will overlap with each other enough.Its everything I didn't buy this cape for. And the wait was so long too augh!!!
