Not what I expected--some good laughts
Book 8 is my least favorite book so far. I love the original couple Declan and Shannon and watching their relationship develop. There are a lot of hilarious parts that made me laugh hard. My problem is that I felt like I was on a merry-go-round. Parts of the story kept circling but didn’t feel like it takes me anywhere. I want to say incredulous because I read it every other chapter. I think this is Julia's favorite word.By the time, we get to understand (a little) why Marie is so over the top crazy about her wedding foolishness; I didn’t care. Another track tht the story takes that I question is the parings. The story is starting to sound like the West Virginia/Tennessee Hollows. Andrew is with Shannon’s “best friend” Amanda, James is getting involved with Amanda’s mom. I don’t know where James and Pam's relationship is going since he always hooks up with young 20 somethings. Anyway, it feels strange and unnatural as it is becoming an inbred group.Don’t get me wrong; I still like most of this book and series in general. Ms. Kent knows how to write and tell a story that makes me laugh. I am, however, questioning the way some parts of the story is progressing. I am hoping that Julie will return to the funniness that isn’t so over-the-top soon. Declan and Shannon are working on their issues that feel so right.

Hilarity Continues!
Julia Kent hits another one out of the ballpark with the 8th book in this series! The story picks up with our heroine, Shannon and her ever thoughtful groom-to-be (and our Hero) Declan, fleeing their "over-the-top" Scottish-themed wedding ceremony that was planned by her Momzilla mother, Marie. Because there was so much of the press invited to the ceremony, their wild escape by helicopter, makes headline news around the world! The reader is a "fly on the wall" listening to sometimes giddy, sometimes heartwrenchingly panicked conversations between Shannon and Dec as the realization of what they did and the possible "whys" slowly unravels.Julia stays true to her witty and fast moving dialogue between the main characters and all the supporting cast members (especially Declan's brother, Andrew, Shannon's best friend, Amanda, Shannon's parents, Marie and Jason, and Dec's father, James) we've all grown to love as well! What's different this time around is Julia has added deeper character development by revealing interesting insights, which intensifies the conflicts in the story. I think these intense conflicts leads to a sweeter, more satisfying HEA ending to this installment of the story. I can't wait to see what happens in the next phase!I was lucky enough to receive an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Endlessly stalling for no reason
So they escaped the nightmare of a wedding Marie created and headed for Vegas and stayed there for a couple days with no plans on actually getting married there. The whole point of going to Vegas was to get married, but I'm halfway through the book and no eloping has happened yet. This book is so ridiculously long and winded I'm just going to skip to the end so I know what happens.A lot of stupid comments are made that should be talked about more, such as "life is business. The time I get with you is what I can squeeze around work". But nwither of them like to fight so they just kiss or have sex or someone interrupts them every time.

Hilarious!
Book 8 is finally here!! *I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review*Shopping for a Billionaire's Wife picks up where Shopping for a CEO leaves off. Shannon and Declan are running from Momzilla and quite possibly the most ostentatious and ridiculous wedding ever planned! They escape to Vegas but of course nothing with these two is ever that easy. What I love so much about this series is the laughter you are guaranteed to get at every turn. This book had me laughing out loud at so many parts (vajacial, how ocean water is salty, the lengths Shannon will go to for coffee, and so many others!). This book also explored deeper conflict and inspired some tears at a couple spots. The amazing thing about these characters, as well as the characters from the author's other series, is they feel so real. I connect with them and feel what they are feeling. I root for their happy endings and laugh until I'm crying at their antics. That cliffhanger ending has me impatiently waiting for Book #9!!

Roller Coaster ride from start to finish!!
Julia has done it again!!! The roller-coaster ride that was this book is equal to some of the biggest rides I have ever been on. I laughed until I cried, and cried until I laughed and still there was more to come. It felt so fast paced, yet spanned only a few days....satisfying and still leaving you wanting for the next ride. Her gift with words is absolutely remarkable and her ability to bring modern slang (and make up her own I think lol) leaves me breathless at her talent. There are plenty of reviews that will tell you ALL about the book...but I'll leave you with this...I'll never, ever think of tapas without thinking of Julia and this book!! I have yet to read one of Julia's books without falling in love with the characters, even Momzilla....but I think a divorce may be in the wings. Declan needs to become MY husband LOL...just kidding...he and Shannon were made for each other.

Vegas Baby!!
Oh my gosh, if you thought it couldn't get any crazier, just set aside a few hours because you'll read this in one sitting!! My favorite book so far. Emotional rollercoaster!! You get to find out more about Shannon's parents, and her dad is so endearing. Even James becomes more human. And true to form, just when you think the story is winding down Julia Kent hits you with a doozie of a cliffhanger, so you have to read the next book!

Really good edition to the series
This book in the series focuses on the developing relationship between Shannon and Declan. It is an easy read and has several parts which had me rolling with laughter. The plot is full of passion and romance, as well as providing more in-depth information of some of the background characters we have met in previous books. The more I read of this author the more I like her writing, as she manages to use everyday situations in a hilarious way throughout her work i.e. meeting hot man when your hand is down the toilet. Hilarious.

Shopping for a BILLONAIRE' S Wife
I loved the characters and Shannon and Declan , finally got hitched after a false start that they wanted nothing to do with .The story has romance ,comedy, and then serious situations going on to and not forgetting reflecting over the year's . I would recommend this book , and definitely worth a read .
