Really great phone but they have turned the 3G off in our area so it no longer works where we live for phone calls. It’s still a working device but is used for music and photos instead. Do not let this put you off if you have 3G availability as it is a great phone

Phone - is good for the price-point. I find Sony's are superior android phones because they don't have much bloatware and are generally well built. Supplier - was prompt and actually delivered before the estimated date which was nice. The item was exactly as advertised.

I am a Sony phone fan because they use to make quasi unbreakable, practical, all-round functional, soundtastic phone. I bought 2 of these, back to back, because I suspected that when the first one broke, it was the factory exception. I was wrong. Although cuter and lighter than the average Sony I've had in the past, the sound and image quality were not there and nor was the sturdiness. Don't get me wrong, they still do their job but this is the first time I am going to buy a phone case in my entire Sony phone life. Sure the price is ok but this has always been my price range and I have always bought Sony phones way after their first release to cushion the financial blow and I have never been disappointed before. I am not completely disappointed, just felt betrayed when I had to consider possibly getting a Samsung :'(

I’ve had a number of Xperia phones and the, stupidly, bought a Google Pixel (tons of bloat ware and poor performance). So it’s great to be back with Sony. The overall performance is astounding for the price. Only negative so far is the video camera function seems to have issues with constant adjusting of focus and light.

Minus 1 star for the camera being very slow and generally not great. Apart from the camera app being a touch laggy the phone performs excellently at day to day tasks. Fingerprint scanner is very fast (almost too fast as it's tough to wake the screen to check notifications without unlocking the phone). The 21:9 format feels comfortable with easy one hand use. Side sense helps make it more use able with one hand. Battery life is also phenomenal.

This sony phone is a great all rounder. Easy to use and light in weight, the battery life is really good (charged it once in 3 days) it also has a stamina mode that you can set to activate when the battery % drops to a certain level, making it last even longer. less scrolling up and down with the long screen easily fitting the keyboard and chat boxes at the same time with the likes of whatsapp and facebook. Great camera, great screen, nice and loud ear piece when on a call. even a 3.5mm jack socket for headphones that a lot of other phone makers have stopped doing. For the price of £320 its well worth it.
