Thermoskin Lumbar Back Support

I have been wearing this for about a week after previously wearing a much bulkier immobilizing brace for an injury (fractured vertebrae). I have a relatively small waist and wide hips with a definite backside, and this is able to mold itself to my shape in a way that I did not find with other braces I have tried. It is not a heavy-duty brace for a lot of support for heavy lifting, it provides mild compression and heat retention. Mostly I don't even feel the heat but when I remove it and touch my skin, it is definitely warmer than normal and best of all, the heat and compression gives me a lot of relief when I start feeling twinges and soreness. Trying not to wear it too much and become dependent on it, but I sometimes forget I have it on. The lining is comfortable and keeps it in place. With loose clothing, it is invisible as the compression just about cancels out the thickness of the material. I just bought a second one because it takes a while to drip-dry.

Excellent for lumbar support after a muscle strain/sprain. Adjustable and comfortable to wear. It does retain heat across the lower back which is only noticeable after removing. It also helps with sitting posture and restricting movements to prevent re-injury. The instructions for size order are to measure at/just below waist. If you are a petite person, a better measurement is across the hip bones. The extra small fits me with about an inch of overlap across the hip bones and more at waist level, but believe a small would have worked just fine. Which I have ordered as I see using this lumbar support to help prevent muscle strains/sprains in the future. Excellent product.

I need to exchange this large belt for a XL This item runs small!!! Be aware it is not exchangeable. I am very disappointed as this is one of the more pricey belts and it does look supportive . I will never know as it is to small to wear :(

This brace gives me the back support that I need. It turns to run small so be sure to measure carefully.

The negative first:1. It is billed as a way to deliver continuous warmth to the back. I find it to be no more warming than any other close fitting rather heavy weight garment. Total bust there.2. A seated position will produce a bit of a "rolling" effect, especially in front. More a cosmetic concern than a functional one.On the positive side:1. Very well made. I've had no difficulty with the velcro closures and adustments. I haven't yet had to launder it, so can't speak to that, but looking at the material I feel confident that following the label directions should produce a good result.2. Fits true to size. I'd recommend buying the size you'd buy for men's sweat pants. Round up a half size if you have a "gut". (guilty!). By that I mean iIf you wear a 2X sweat but don't have much left over room, go 3X. If you wear 2X with a little room to spare, you'll likely be ok. I think (no experience here) that slender body types might even round down a half size. There's plenty of room to adjust and you WANT a tight fit.3. Worn next the skin, it is both comfortable and not especially noticable.3. It's very comfortable to wear standing or seated. However that means the level of support is less than a fully stayed and rigid device. The support comes mostly from the tight fit and banding. There is little restriction in movement laterally. That is fine for me; it reduces my back pain when walking and allows me to sit with it on comfortably.4. Worn next to the skin everyone should find it makes visits to the rest room "normal".As long as you aren't expecting a device to increase circulation to an affected area or mysteriously provide "warmth", I recommend this as a very decent back support.

I bought this as a spare. It’s also good as it lessens the pain I have on my lower back. As I mentioned on the other back support I’m just using them n testing them.By the way how long does this one last n what’s the return policy of both back supports?Just checking in case it doesn’t meet manufacturer’s claims for durability….. etc etc.Can your delivery guy deliver by 6:00 PM latest???? Times are not the same as before so safety is very important for me. Thanks for your ears.🙏🙏

The product was perfect in terms of quality and functionality, but sizing was wrong. I expect medium to fit a waistline of between 30-36, but this was way too small, and should have been labeled small. At least the vendor should have provided a sizing table on the web site if their sizing is non-conventional. Luckily someone else was able to use this support. It's a hassle to return and reorder.
