These were great wiffle balls for hitting and I all my friends had fun with them throwing mean curve balls and knuckle balls, but thats the only thing we could throw. For the life of us we could not throw anything else. I find it impossible. One of the balls cracked but I just put duck tape on it and it was perfectly fine. The MLB Powerhouse Grey Bat you can buy at Target works great with these balls. These are great balls but the blitzball is better and more expensive.

The color strip falls apart
My kids love the junk balls. They can throw them all the day long in our basement. We've found the color strips on the ball tend to break and fall off but my kids have learned to duct-tape the balls back together. I think perhaps it needs to be redesigned as a one-piece ball instead of 2-piece.
