Word Magnets Poetry Mega Set

This magnetic word set is certainly mega, with hundreds of words, which gives it a notch above the rest of the poetry sets out there. The only downside to this product is that you have to cut or pull apart words from one another before using. The magnets do come perforated, but there are 10-20 words stuck together that must be separated by hand. This was a time-consuming task and made for sore fingers. Additionally, once the words are separated, they no longer fit in the tin.

My young adult kids love this set. Timing was perfect for pandemic-related shutdowns. Every day, there's a new poem on the fridge. I also like that the magnets are strong enough that my cat can't move them when he stretches up the fridge and tries to slide the tiles down. Cat-proof poetry - what more could you ask for? :-)

I use this product in my middle school classroom. I split the magnetic strips up into six containers and gave them to six different tables to complete poems. There is a great variety of words, word parts, and punctuation to support creativity.My only concern is that the magnetic tiles are kind of flimsy. I hope they last for multiple more uses.

Great bargain. Best set with lots more words for same price range. Great quality magnets. Only once you separate all the words they do not fit in the tin...so it's kind of disappointing. But overall would recommend.

I like this set, seems sturdy and all, but I need to contact the seller/manufacturer to see if I can buy a word ... not a vowel. Hard to believe in a poetry set that the word 'patience' is absent, as in, "Do you have the 'patience' to wait till your mud settles and the water is clear? Can you remain unmoving till the right action arises by itself?"So ... I want that word on my fridge and I want it now! Ha!

It’s a lot of words, but there are at least a couple of simple words that are not included that should be : happy and pull. Ambiguous and bamboozle are there, but not happy or pull. I found that odd. Also, I don’t know if this is even possible but it would be so awesome if they could be grouped together in a more orderly way...at least the words with more than 3 letters. It took me forever to find the words I wanted for 2 lines of a poem. Maybe that’s a me thing. Overall, the word set is ok.

Fun to mess with, my teens like to stand at the fridge (now with the door closed!), composing hilarious and cheeky poems. Great little addition to the playfulness level of our home. It would be nice to have some blanks, to write extra words.

Love it. The volume of words almost fill one side of fridge. Perfect for my 5 year old learning to read. All her sight words are in there.
