Swan Comfort 100% Cotton Pestemal Turkish Bath Towel, 39" x 70" - Blue - Yellow

When I initially received this product, I was convinced that I would end up returning it. It felt SO stiff, especially for how thin the material was. I didn't see how this was going to be absorbent and thought it was WAY too scratchy for my skin. However, I decided to throw it in the wash and see what happens. I'm glad I gave this towel a chance! After one wash, it was much softer (though don't expect it to be on the same softness level as a high quality terry cloth towel) and WOW, I was surprised by how absorbent this is! The length is perfect and I love the color (even though the yellow stripes are more of a greenish-yellow hue). I'm 5'10" with a slender(ish) build, but I can still wrap this towel around me with enough left over to knot it up toga style. It's perfect for the beach, pool, spa, or bathroom. While the fabric seems like it will hold up (and even the tassels haven't frayed much after a few gentle washes), the edge seam has fallen out almost completely. While that is a bit of a bummer, I'm still considering buying a few more of these towels.

I've been using these thin, woven towels for a few years now and I have to say that during the summer months, they are a must have.They are a joy to wash, just hang to dry. No worries about musty smells in the laundry hamper. You can use fabric softer on them, no are no loops to worry about weighing them down.They are very absorbent and they dry quickly. I prefer using these towels in the summer months. Considering how thin they are, they can hold a lot of water 💧 The material is soft and well woven

We use these towel for our beach/pool towels. Everyone in my family has one, and we all love them! As a mom, I especially love that they pack well and don't take up a lot of space in my pool bag. The colors are adorable, and they have held up well in the washer so far. I used to line dry, but found they were pretty wrinkled, so I started tossing them in the dryer and have found they are getting softer that way... score! We always get compliments on them, too. My daughter loves that it doubles as a wrap. Great product, great quality, great value for the money!

I have had this towel for a few years now and I still use it and it is great! Now, I do live in a tropical climate so I really appreciate how these dry so easily and are just superlightweight and easy to pack. Fun fringe too!

This is one of the better Turkish towels I have purchased. While it is not supper soft, I wash it with fabric softener and problem solved. The towel is great for lightening my load in my beach bag. Super absorbent and dries quicker than regular beach towels. Love the colors and they appear to hold up. Will continue to use the towels in my bathroom to see how they hold up past the summer season. Love the first one so much I purchased again in a different color.

It's larger than I was expecting (my mental image of the stated dimensions was clearly flawed), so I can't hang it on my bathroom's towel bar without it hitting the floor, but it's thin enough that it dries quickly, even when I hang it on a hook on the back of the bathroom door.MUCH more absorbent than I was expecting, even after only a single wash - I understand it'll probably get better with age. I'm excited about the travel potential, since it'll work for a thin blanket in addition to its beach or bathtowel duties, and since it's so thin, it should be easy to pack in a carry-on bag. I ordered it in the ice blue and yellow combination, which doesn't appear to be available right now but is super cute and beachy-looking.

I love the colors! When I first opened it the texture was more of a beach mat, I thought it was going to be more soft. I bought this for Florida trip in September. I will wash it and see if it becomes more soft. It definitely seems like a towel that you lay on at the beach!

Hoping it softens up in the wash. Cute towel though. It’s a gift for a friend, so not sure how absorbency is either.
