Austrian AudioOC18-STUDIO-SET, OC18 Microphone, Spider Mount, Mic Clip, Windshield, Case

This review is specifically for females with high or low voices; this cardioid condenser mic is pretty perfect! I haven’t had the mic for long (only for 1 day tbh), but I’ve tested it out and it sounds so smooth and so warm. I own two Neumanns and I prefer this mic over those super expensive ones. I might update later, but for now it’s the perfect mic for me and my voice and for my career. I’m definitely using the OC18 for my upcoming demo reel, that’s for sure!

I tested it, the sound is very natural, takes equalization great without audio being distorted has a better proximy effect than the akg c414 it feels indeed like an improved version of akg this doesn't have any coloration and the akg it has it, this depends like they say your taste I will say is like a chepaer version of the tlm 102 has a great compression integrated. I will say if anything is perfect for voiceover

Not an audio engineer, but I do have some thoughts on this mic. One thing I particularly like about the sound is how it goes with my voice, something I didn't find with other microphones. The shockmount doesn't seem 'amazing' or super sturdy, but this is the case with other higher end mics as well. The LCT 540 S shockmount isn't going to win any awards in this department either, but I love its sound as well. Plus, others will likely have a universal shockmount like Rycote. The stock will likely get the job done for you. The mic on the other hand does seem to be very good quality and this is what I would expect and any consumer expects.I haven't had the mic for very long, but saw it didn't have many reviews. It definitely deserves more. May update if anything changes.

Honestly the quality is probably much higher than my smooth-brain ears can understand, but even I can tell it's awesome.
