Much better camera than my last one and the control box is also much better. As expected from past experience, the connecting cord is always a difficult issue. Either too stiff or not stiff enough, but that is easily managed by taping the cord to a more manageable wire.

I bought this and used it to find a test plug that had washed down my sewer line in the house.Pros:2 camera lenses are helpful, different attachments that screw to the end of the cable (i.e. a hook or magnet), ability to adjust brightnessCons:USB connection to handheld monitor plugs in from either direction, and if plugged in the wrong way, all you get is a blue screen without any indication that it is plugged in incorrectly. Luckily just figured that out on my own. My experience with USB connections is that generally they don’t allow you to plug-in any other way but the correct way. Just about sent the unit back thinking it was broken. Also difficult to manipulate the camera angle and direction once it is in the pipe further away. Was unsuccessful at maneuvering to grab anything with the hook also. Not sure how this could be improved, but just my experience.

First off this is not an endoscope, at best it is a borescope. An endoscope is a medical instrument. The unit I received does not have 1920x1080 resolution in the menu. The best resolution is 1280x720. The offering in the menu is 12280x480, 1280x712 and 1280x720. Also there is a F and a S in the upper right of the screen that I assume means Front camera and Side camera. Only the F is the side camera and S the front??? 3x digital zoom? Haven't found that button yet, not even mentioned in the user manual! I wish the items delivered would match their description better. Not happy with this purchase. Edit: returned item, looking at another comment with photo the screen shot looks like a totally different program than what is on the unit I'm returning. 2nd Edit: Asking the seller a question... It seems that I received an earlier version of the borescope that should have been removed from stock. The newer version adds the 1920x1080 resolution and corrects the mixed up "F" + "S" screen identification. Reordering for the newer stock.

I'm sending it back and I don't recommend it for HVAC inspection.

Not great picture quality.. Lights are good for 3 inches ahead.. Not usefull when you are in a wall cavity and want to see without probing everything.

Screen is useless after only using once. Would save your money and get something else. I am not happy about this.
