Do these need expansion gaps around perimeter and between boards?

The boards do not require gaps anywhere but the floor you fit on the top needs them around the perimeter. I fill these gaps with cork expansion strips which allows expansion of the floor.

Are these easy to cut with a heavy duty craft knife?

I used a stanley knife and yes really easy to cut.

Do these under laminate insulation panels need to be fixed, (glue, staples or nails etc) do they need to be taped together.

They just lay on the floor. I’ve not taped them and they work perfectly

Can gripper rods be naild into this?

I don’t see why not, so long as the gripper rod is going into an appropriate surface under the underlay. Such as floorboards etc.

Wish I’d have found these ages ago.These are identical to the B&Q fibre board ones but at a significantly cheaper price.Does what it says on the tin.Easy to use. Great insulation properties and brilliant for soundproofing.Would thoroughly recommend.Even delivery was spotless!
