I used this product to paint both the kitchen and the bathroom, it is really thick, quality paint meaning it doesn't drip, it only takes half the time as you don't have to layer it up, I always by Johnstones, in my opinion it's the best paint on the market.

I absolutely love Johnstones paints, they are so reasonably priced and I would even go as far as to say they are better that Dulux paint or at the least on par. I actually used the lemon daze paint in my lounge, my lounge is really big and I was looking for a lemon/yellow for a reasonable price in matt that would be tough and washable, I havent actually had any spills yet so I cant say how well this paint wipes/washes up but this paint seemed to tick all the boxes. I was going to go for silk because I have a dog and a young son but from previous experience silk paint is horrid to paint with and shows every mark on the wall so for the price and the fact this is grease resistant it seemed my best bet.This lemon paint is a true lemon yellow, it isnt too bright either it's perfect. I did take a bit of a risk because I have noticed with the pictures/swatches of Johnstones paints online they dont completely match once on the wall.. so it can be tricky to get the right colour going by the pictures you'll find online. I bought the sage greenfir my sons room a while back and even though it is sage the tone of the colour didnt match the pictures online, lovely colour nonetheless and we kept it but it didnt match the pictures so you have to be a little careful, Dulux swatches online are pretty much exactly what you get so just be careful with johnstones shades. This lemon yellow doesnt match the swatches either, in the pictures it showed a very almost pale off lemon/cream kinda colour but in this case the risk paid off as I didnt want the tone of lemon that was on the pictures online...this is a true cross between lemon/yellow but isnt overly bright on the eyes.Overall I'm really really happy with this paint, we will soon see if maros can be washed off but for the price I dont mind buying another pot if I have to which is great.Just to add - I was going to add a photo however I noticed that on my camera it looked exactly the same as in the swatches online! The camera and lighting must change the tone slightly so it doesnt give a true indication of the colour so I didnt bother, the actual colour is definately a true lemon yellow not a creamy lemon as most cameras seem to pick up

It’s a nice paint but was thinking sage to be a bit more deeper ,so just keep that in mind it’s almost more on the white side

The colour I went with (lemon daze) is so incredibly beautiful its not strong in scent its gone on so easy no streaking and it's drying so fast. The delivery was next day with prime as promised no leakage or dents or absolutely anything wrong what so ever (sadly I've had experiences with purchasing online and when the Item arrives its damaged and all over the box) these were so well wrapped in a hard plastic the packaging of the boxes was done very thoughtfully and I truly could not have wished for a better experience.. The colour on my phone with the photo I took of It doesn't do it justice but I'll attach a pic anyway thank you!!

This is lovely thick paint which is a pleasure to use. I’m painting on top of wipe-clean kitchen paint so it’s going to take three coats for proper coverage, and you need to allow for that. But it’s so easy to use and drips much less than normal emulsion. The colour is interesting - I wouldn’t really call it sage green. Men and women see colour boundaries differently (you can look this up; I’m not inventing it) and my husband and son see this as pale blue, whereas to my daughter and me it’s clearly green. But whatever colour it is, it looks fantastic. Very low odour, too. I will definitely look for this brand again.

I had to do three coats to get that perfect even coat, but that was probably due to having wall paper on the wall first. Was done with in 4hours. Quick to dry, and easy to clean painting tools and get any off clothes as can wash off with water. I have this as feature wall in my hall way. I am not sure how good it would be in the kitchen. Like said it wipes off easily with water on the painting tools. Tho maybe on the wall once fully dry should be able to wipe down okay. So only giving 4 stars as I can’t check that with advertising for easy grease removal

This was a lovely paint to use, def only two coats needed over a light colour and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to look in our small box room.

this is NOT pure brilliant white. it is MAGNOLIA. will have to buy more paint and paint a room all over again now ! D:
