Colorado Trees & Wildflowers: A Folding Pocket Guide to Familiar Plants (Nature Observation North America)

This product was really much smaller than I thought it would be. However it does have lots of information.

I bought this for being waterproof and very portable.I take a lot of nature walks and it's nice to have something small to take with you.I know a lot of people review these small pamplets expecting more but it's not a field guide.I love it for what I need it for!!

as somebody here already mentioned, the tree section in this booklet is a little bit useless without showing the bark. Other than that it is a nice and handy booklet for wildflowers even tho it does not have enough of them. It would be better if they just skipped the tree and added more of the common Colorado wildflowers. The size is perfect for your day pack as it does not really add any weight. The flowers are separated by colors which is always nice and makes it much easier to find the flower. Pls skip the trees and add more flowers and it will be just perfect! :)

The size is great. You can carry this most anywhere easily. Folds nicely and is a great reference for hiking, walking or just touring the landscape.

A quick identification with picture and description! Love it. I do wish that it included the blooming period for each flower, though.

This wasn't what I expected, but worked well for me anyway. It's a little bigger than standard paper, but in a tri-fold and laminated. Easy to slide in a back pocket for later reference. The pictures are a bit small, making it somewhat difficult to distinguish between things, but it's good for a casual nature observer. I got it to get my kids aware of what they see when we're camping, and it's worked well for that.

The pocket guide is easy to take along on hikes. Not all of the wildflowers we encountered were included. I got better at understanding the leaf and pine cone descriptions the more I used it.
