This outlet is very nice looking and is very rugged.The only hiccup is with the plastic cover. The provided attachment screw is a little too short. It was easily corrected by using a slightly smaller drill bit to remove a little material in the hole where the screw goes through the plastic cover. This allows the screw to catch the threads in the metal base. Someone else had this problem in a previous review

Used this surface outlet to provide a plug-in for the NEMA 14-50 adapter for my Tesla Mobile Charger. It was just what I needed. Arrived early and was easily installed in the garage.

This is good quality outlet that can be used with welders, etc. It appears better made than those I could find at local big box hardware stores, with thicker gauge metal faceplate, at a better price as well.

Seemed well-made but, from every plug I’ve seen and for my needs, it’s manufactured upside down. Ground plug should be at the top. Returned it.
