Original review is below. I had an item that was manufactured incorrectly. I contacted the seller and they without question sent me a new item with no cost to me. I worried that customer service would be non existent and I was wrong. ATiAP resolved the issue in one message and three days later I had a replacement itemIt’s unfortunate the item was defective but based on the service from these guys I would definitely look at them again to purchaseThanks ATiAP for taking care of my issueWell that’s a pity. I had high hopes but unfortunately the stove has its internal parts installed upside down as so won’t work. Look at the picture I attached. The numbers are upside down and the holes where the alcohol would flow into the outer section are at the top not the bottom. Okay just send it back. Nope. They don’t take returns. So I would have to say it’s hard to trust a company that has such poor quality control that their product just won’t work. I’m out $36. Not the end of the world but you would hope that products sold on Amazon would have a higher quality that this. I can’t find anywhere to contact the seller directly or I would try to deal with them to get this resolved. Perhaps they will see this review an do what’s right. I hope so. In the mean time I can not recommend you purchase a product from them. Sorry

I use this on my Mkettle to heat water. It gets water hot enough to make coffee in less than 10min usually. I wish I could screw the cap on like the trangia for ease of saving the fuel.

I've been using a home made beer can stove for a few years and thought this might be a good upgrade. I tried it out at home tonight and I'm very disappointed. First the good points. It is very light weight and seems to be well-built and durable. The bad parts are related to the design. It emits very tall yellow flames going way beyond what is needed to heat a pot of water. My beer can stove makes a nice low blue flame and heats the water to boiling much faster. The other problem with the design is that the diameter is too small. This makes it very unstable and easy to tip over. That would result in a spilled pot and worse, spilled flaming alcohol. Not recommended!

Awesome littleI burner. I burn 99% alcohol in it. It omits a nice blue flame and last long enough to boil water. Definitely need to set it on a flat rock as it gets supper hot!!!

The wire mesh wick is surprisingly fantastic. Although the price is double that of the original trangia, this stove is a fantastic burn. The simmering from an original trangia fits perfectly, the graduations inside are very easy to read, but it does not seal up for travel like a trangia. Would not trade this burner for any other, but the ability to transport fuel with a sealed tight lid like a trangia is very hard to beat.

1.5 oz. without the lid, which I didn't order. Included potcrest ways about .4 oz. Seems well made and is more efficient that a trangia( boiled a cup of water in around 3 minutes with the cone style windshield I mentioned ) . Fits easily in my pot with a windguard I fashion out of aluminum flashing and a .75 oz collapsible cup. Total weight with 4 oz denatured alcohol, sponge and spork just under 14 oz. A big weight savings vs gas, when fuel canisters weigh around 11 oz alone.

It's light and compact paired with twig stove and it's a wonderful addition. Brings two cups to a boil fairly quickly.

30ml can be burned for 9 minutes (95% alcohol), the flame enters the working state after 1 minute of lighting, the flame becomes smaller after 8 minutes, and the furnace cools and can be touched after about 5 minutes after being extinguished. 60ml can burn for 14 minutes, other parameters are the same as above. The combustion efficiency is very high, the weight is very light, and the inner wall metal mesh extends the service life.

Sturdy, light, quiet, and no moving parts. A nice little burner.
